Shihmen Reservoir, one of the important reservoirs in northern Taiwan, has beautiful scenery all year round. It is connected to more than a dozen tourist attractions, including the dam, spillway, lake cruise pier, Xizhou Park, Maple Forest Park, Nanyuan Ecological Park, etc. The park is full of trees, bicycle trails, and boat trips around the lake, providing a variety of leisure activities. There are Shimen Dam Wharf and Amuping Wharf, where passengers can take a yacht around the lake and enjoy the magnificent scenery of the reservoir.
