Tateyama Kurobe. Japan Alpine Route. As someone with almost no experience traveling in Japan, I had never heard of Tateyama Kurobe. As for the Alps, well, I had heard of them, but they were too expensive to go. Then let’s challenge the Japanese version. I bought a five-day ticket for JR Tateyama Kurobe, stayed in Nagoya for a quick night, went to Takayama Hida for a meal, stayed in Toyama for the night, and got up early the next day to go to Tateyama. There are hundreds of guides for Japan, but I still feel doubtful when I set out, as if I am going through a level like playing an RPG game. The tram was shaking, and I finally understood along the way that the most beautiful part was the road.
