[Okinawa] An unprecedented immersive experience! The miniature world of "Little Universe Okinawa"

Little Universe OKINAWA opened in April 2024 in the large commercial facility "IIAS Okinawa Toyosaki" in Tomigusuku City, about 20 minutes by car from Naha Airport. This facility is a new hybrid entertainment facility that combines the latest technologies such as light, sound, AR (augmented reality) and 360-degree projection mapping with an elaborately reproduced miniature world. The most notable feature is the "My Avatar" created with the latest 3D scanner! You can import your own avatar, that is, your alter ego, created using a dedicated app into your smartphone and project yourself into the miniature world through your smartphone screen. What's more, you can run, dance, pose, and move around. This 3D avatar machine is usually quite expensive for personal use! Apparently this is the only place where you can experience such machines at an exceptional price. Other attractions include a miniature world based on the 18th century Ryukyu Dynasty, a Retro Tokyo area that recreates the streets of the Showa era in the 1980s, and the Evangelion "Village 3" area, which is a must-see for anime fans. Everything from buildings to people is reproduced in 1/80 scale with great detail and rich expression. Even more interesting is the "RYU-KYU Universe," which projects Okinawa's famous sites in pointillism data in all directions using 360-degree projection mapping. You can experience an immersive feeling like you've never experienced before. The room in "THE KALEIDOSCOPE," which recreates the world of a kaleidoscope, is also very beautiful.
