I looked at a lot of platforms and asked people around, and they all recommended Hoi X because they have a discount 🤣 It's currently $208/catty, and I saw Dao X selling it for $198/catty 🤑 I recommend calling ahead to make reservations, as I've seen people say there's a chance they might be out of crab or have small crabs left 🥺 🍴Restaurant Review This branch has a comfortable environment, especially since it's a wedding venue. 👰♂️🤵Some of the staff may be temporary, and they weren't very clear about the set menus or the food. 🤔The food is above average, and the crab side dishes are acceptable when served cold. 😆The dessert after the meal was a nice touch 🥰 🦀Alaskan Long-legged Crab $188 per catty (price increase now applies) We ordered about 6 catties of crab, a fairly large crab. 😎 The shell wasn't too thick, and the meat was quite generous and sweet, not too salty. 😋 Since it was fresh, the shell was easy to remove. 😉 You can add the crab roe to fried rice or a pre-made steamed egg for an extra fee, which was also quite good. 👍🏻 ✨Dinner Double Deal $168 🐟Steamed Sabah Grouper (about 1 catty) The taste was good. Since the steamed fish was served right after the crab, it had to be cooled before eating. 🥹Even after cooling, there was no fishy smell; it was steamed just right, and the fish was tender and flavorful. 😌 🥬Crab Roe with Pea Sprouts The portion was average; I could have ordered more. 😗The crab roe had a small amount of crab meat and a hint of egg yolk, but the sauce was a bit thick due to the over-thickening of cornstarch. 🙁The pea sprouts were fresh enough. Tender, no residue 👌🏻 🐓 Bearded Free Range Chicken (forgot the price) It was a little cold when it arrived. The jelly layer between the skin and the meat told me it had been sitting around for a while. 🫠The meat was firm and had a nice chicken flavor.
