Whilst you are in Rome you cannot miss visiting the Vatican city! This includes both the cathedral itself and the Vatican museums (which is where you’ll find the sistine chapel - but note no photos in there!) They are both very impressive and you will not regret taking your time to soak in the art and atmosphere here.
