Versailles Palace

Versailles Palace, located southwest of Paris, France, is a magnificent palace rich in history and art. Originally built by Louis XIII in 1623, it was later expanded by Louis XIV and became a symbol of the French royal family. The palace is renowned worldwide for its stunning architecture, exquisite gardens, and rich historical significance. We purchased tickets for three palaces and took the metro to Versailles. After getting off at the metro station, it was about an 8-minute walk to the palace. The scenery along the way was delightful, especially the surrounding greenery and historic buildings, which made us feel as if we had traveled back to the classical era. Upon arriving at Versailles Palace, we first noticed a charming palace filled with a romantic atmosphere. The luggage storage service here was very convenient, and the restrooms were free and elegantly maintained, providing a comfortable experience. Inside the palace, we were awestruck by its spectacular interior design. Every room in the palace holds rich historical stories, particularly those related to figures like Louis XIV and Louis XVI. The history of Napoleon was especially fascinating, offering deeper insights into France's past. The gardens of Versailles were equally captivating, adorned with various flowers and sculptures that showcased the pinnacle of French gardening aesthetics. Strolling through the gardens, it felt as though we could imagine the grandeur of noble gatherings from the past.
