Changyu Dongtian

Changyu Dongtian Scenic Area covers a total area of 16.18 square kilometers, located in the Changyu area of Xinhai Town, Wenling, consisting of the Baxianyan, Shuangmendong, Chongguo Temple, and Yeshan, four major scenic spots. In 2002, it was rated as a national AAAA-level tourist area. In 2007, it was listed by the Ministry of Construction's Scenic Area Management Office as one of the top ten most distinctive scenic spots in China. The Fangshan-Changyu Dongtian Scenic Area, with a total area of 26.06 square kilometers, is based on the ancient volcanic crater geomorphology, characterized by the sheer cliffs of Fangshan volcanic rock plateau and the Dongtian stone culture formed by artificial mining over thousands of years. It features precipitous cliffs, strange peaks and deep valleys, cascading waterfalls and streams, and Dongtian scenery. It is a mountainous and rocky scenic area that combines grandeur, danger, and beauty, integrating nature with culture, and serves functions for scientific research, science popularization, sightseeing, and leisure.
