Komodo Dragons at Surabaya Zoo: A Wild Sight! 🦎🍖

#summervacay Today, I decided to explore Surabaya city based on some recommendations, and while some spots didn't quite hit the mark – the mosque to the south was too far, and the Zheng He Mosque felt more like a novelty – the Komodo dragons at Surabaya Zoo were absolutely worth it! A Feast for the Eyes (and the Dragons!) Visiting Komodo National Park is definitely on my bucket list, but I couldn't fit it into this trip. Luckily, the Surabaya Zoo offers a fantastic opportunity to see these famous giant lizards up close. I happened to catch the massive Komodo dragons during their lunch time. Watching six or seven large adult Komodo dragons devour a single goat was quite a sight – a bit brutal, to be honest! Thankfully, they didn't put a live animal in, or the kids would surely have been terrified.
