Scenery of Hailing Island No. 17: Guliaocun Village

Guliaocun Village is located in the southwest of Hailing Island, about 2.6 km from the Nanhai Bay Grand Hotel where we stayed, just a few minutes by car. The village was originally an ancient fishing village from the Southern Song Dynasty and was once one of the supply points on the ancient Maritime Silk Road. From a stone tablet at the village entrance, it can be seen that this place is likely a targeted support area for Zhuhai Hengqin New Area. In recent years, through careful development, Guliaocun Village has become an artistic resort integrating homestays, tourism, and leisure, becoming a new highlight of rural tourism on Hailing Island!
