Girls! Just got back from Huangshan and I'm here to share my experience

It was really exhausting, but the beauty was truly breathtaking! This time, it was all thanks to choosing a great hotel that made everything so much easier🏨 📍The location is excellent, just across the street is the Scenic Area Transfer Center🚌. No need to rush in the morning, getting an extra hour of sleep is pure bliss. It's about a 40-minute drive to Hongcun and Xidi, making it super convenient to explore Huangshan and the ancient villages all in one trip. 🛏️After hiking, I was completely wiped out, and their mattress really saved me! Once you lie down, you don’t want to get up. Plenty of hot water, quiet rooms—so important after a full day of walking. 🍜 Plus, the breakfast was a delightful surprise! I got to try authentic Huizhou snacks and side dishes, perfect for recharging before heading out again. The restaurant’s floor-to-ceiling windows offer mountain views that instantly lift your mood⛰️ 📝My 3-day, 2-night itinerary: Day 1: Arrive at hotel in the afternoon → explore nearby → rest early Day 2: Take the cable car up from the Transfer Center (Yungu Cableway) → Shixin Peak → West Sea Grand Canyon → watch the sunset at Bright Summit Peak Day 3: Hotel breakfast → half-day tour of Hongcun → return trip 💡Tips: 1. Bring trekking poles and gloves, some steps are steep 2. Weather on the mountain changes quickly, pack a raincoat 3. Soaking your feet after returning to the hotel makes the next day much easier This trip was basically a tour of Huangshan with Teacher Dong, and his description of it as a “fairyland on earth” was no exaggeration!
