This newly opened Yaohu Water Park pleasantly surprised me with over 30 attractions including wave simulators, enclosed tornado slides, lazy rivers - enough for a full day of enjoyment for both adults and kids! Sun-shy visitors needn't worry, with indoor facilities and night sessions available until 9pm. Food outlets and shops are available onsite (you may bring swimwear/water guns or purchase there). Bamboo Sea Train Want to sightsee while resting? Try the 50-minute Bamboo Sea train journey through the town's natural beauty, like entering a Miyazaki-esque fantasy world. Intangible Cultural Heritage Performances: Daytime: "Single Bamboo Drifting" - China's unique water acrobatics blending landscape and bamboo culture Nighttime: "Dragon Water Show" - visual spectacles like "Dragon Tail Swish" and "Soaring Dragon" with water-fire-light effects Paddle Boat Cruise across the lake to fully immerse in the ink-painting-like Jiangnan scenery. Accommodation We stayed at Yaohu Grand Hotel within the scenic area for immersive convenience - close to water park, train, and boats, with shuttle service when tired. The window views are particularly praiseworthy.
