Compared to Huangshan, I love this hidden fairy mountain recommended by National Geographic even more

Hi, I’m travel lover Qirui. I went to Shangrao, Jiangxi last week. I rarely use the word "stunning" to describe a place, but this trip to Jiangxi really hit me! Compared to the popular famous mountains, I prefer Sanqing Mountain recommended by National Geographic. After visiting Sanqing Mountain, I headed straight to Wuyuan to enjoy the autumn scenery and then to Jingdezhen, the porcelain capital. I’ve put together a must-visit guide for first-time visitors to Jiangxi, highly recommend saving it. 1️⃣ Sanqing Mountain I finally understand Su Shi’s exclamation, "Having toured all five great mountains, the best view is at Sanqing!" Mist and clouds wrap around the strange peaks, cliffside plank roads are built hanging in the air, and ancient trees along the path are tinged with autumn colors. It’s truly one of China’s five most beautiful peak forests, and every photo looks like a fairy tale scene~ ✅ Recommended route👇 Jinsha Cableway (up the mountain) - Eastern Goddess - Giant Python Emerging - Lover’s Stone - Sunshine Coast Plank Road - Dragon and Tiger Hall - Sanqing Palace - Gangshou Cableway (down the mountain) ✅ Must-visit photo spots 1️⃣ Giant Python Emerging A 128-meter-high granite pillar piercing the sky, resembling a giant python raising its head. Seeing it up close is truly breathtaking! 2️⃣ Eastern Goddess A naturally formed stone peak that looks like a girl with flowing hair over her shoulders, lifelike and vivid. Different angles offer unique charm, making you marvel at nature’s craftsmanship~ 🚄 Transportation: Get off at Shangrao Station or Yushan Station, then take a bus or taxi directly to the scenic area. ✅ Wuyuan A 45-minute drive from Sanqing Mountain’s Gangshou Cableway! Just coming down from the fairy mountain, you immediately fall into a golden autumn harvest scene~ On the black-tiled roofs of the Hui-style ancient villages, chili peppers 🌶️, corn 🌽, and chrysanthemums 🌼 are hung out to dry, full and abundant. The red, orange, and yellow colors intertwine, blending everyday life with poetic charm. Just standing at the village entrance makes for great photos~ ✅ Jingdezhen A 1-hour high-speed train ride from Wuyuan! Be sure to visit the China Ceramics Museum, where the Yuan dynasty blue-and-white porcelain and famille rose ceramics are stunning. Every snapshot is photogenic~ After getting tired of walking, you can also visit Taoxichuan to experience the collision of old porcelain factories and artistic vibes~
