Traveling with kids to Tai'erzhuang Ancient City! Pitfall guide + must-play list is here

Known as the "Little Jiangnan of the North," Tai'erzhuang Ancient City🏮 is really perfect for unlocking fun with kids! It has the grandeur of a northern ancient city and the tenderness of a Jiangnan water town. But to have a great family trip, avoid these pitfalls and do these things well! ❌Eating inside the scenic area is really not recommended! The locally popular "Spicy Chicken" is sold everywhere. We specially chose "Huajiadi Art Restaurant" because of its high rating, hoping to avoid mistakes, but after one bite, we felt emo😩 The "Shandong Linyi Spicy Chicken" we had before in Jiangsu was more authentic. It's not that Zaozhuang spicy chicken tastes bad, but the ones inside the scenic area are really not good! Also, the "Huanghua Beef Noodles" (as shown in picture 18) The appearance is really unappetizing, and the kid put down the chopsticks after one bite. You can't let kids go hungry, KFC inside the scenic area is the safe choice🍟 ✅Family trips are recommended for one day, and don't miss the night tour! At night, after the ancient city lights up, it looks like a fairy tale world. Walking with kids on the stone paths, watching the lights reflected in the water, the kid kept saying "So beautiful"🥰 ✅These 3 things must be done with kids to make the trip worthwhile! 💖Watch the Iron Flower Show: Around 7 o'clock near Fuxing Building, Fuxing Square is the best viewing spot. Stand with kids in the safe area and watch the iron flowers bloom in the air, kids will be amazed nonstop. Remember to ask the ticket office for the time in advance; they will provide a detailed map🗺️ 💖Ride the Rowboat: A slow little boat shuttles through the water alleys. The boatwoman interacts with the kids, letting them experience the water town vibe up close. Great atmosphere for photos, easy to get amazing family shots～ 💖Stroll on the City Wall: Take kids up the city wall to see the entire ancient city scenery. You can also tell kids stories about Tai'erzhuang, learning while playing. ✅Choose accommodation based on your needs! 💖For convenience, choose near Fuxing Square: close to everywhere, super easy for eating and shopping. We stayed at "City Has Moonlight," which was nice, just a bit far from the square. 💖For quietness, choose "Sky City" Hotel: very peaceful environment, quiet at night, perfect for kids to rest well, just a bit off the main area. ✅Parking tips: Entering from the East Gate is most convenient. There is a parking lot next to the East Gate but it's a bit far. A local uncle will take you to park in front of his shop, the fee is not expensive. It's right by the East Gate city wall, you can enter the scenic area right after getting off, super easy with kids! ✅Must-visit family spots: Yuehe Street (super fun for kids to eat and stroll), Boat-shaped Street (unique shape kids love), Zaozhuang Taizhuang Mansion Cross-Strait Art Museum area, where you can see exhibitions and take photos～
