🍃 Zhangjiajie National Forest Park: A Breath of Fresh Air! ⛰️

#chinatravel I just got back from an amazing trip to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, and I have to tell you about the route I took! It was the perfect way to get away and truly breathe in some fresh, mountain air. 🗺️ My Itinerary: I started my day at the Wulingyuan East Gate, and from there, I took the famous Bailong Elevator straight up to the peak. I spent time exploring the stunning rock pillars of Yuanjiajie and taking in the breathtaking views from Tianzi Mountain. To get back down, I hiked through the serene Golden Whip Stream before leaving through the South Gate, where I caught the shuttle bus back to the entrance. 🌿 Golden Whip Stream: My Favorite Hike I have to say, Golden Whip Stream was my favorite part of the park! It was cool, shady, and the perfect place to enjoy the lush green mountains and peaceful stream. I even had some fun encounters with the local wild monkeys! 🐒 A Few Pro-Tips: Mind the Monkeys: This is a very important tip I learned! The wild monkeys can be mischievous. Never carry snacks in a plastic bag, or they might grab it right out of your hands! Know Your Limits: The Golden Whip Stream trail is about 7-8 kilometers long. If your stamina isn't great, it's a good idea to not attempt the entire hike. I'm so glad I went on this trip!
