TIANMEN MOUNTAIN ROUTE

How to get around: TİANMEN MOUNTAIN I was truly impressed by Tianmen Mountain. Even though I went on a rainy day, the views were still beautiful. To reach the mountain, I chose the A cable car. It departs from the city center and takes you to a central point on the mountain. From there, I followed the western route (23e-red line on the map) on the right side to reach Tianmen Temple. After visiting the temple, I returned to the starting point following the cableways down and then followed the eastern route (F2-yellow line on the map) to reach Heaven's Gate. ( No need to go upper part of the eastern route, after you see the temple just go down) After that you can follow the road to the B cableway and than turn back to the city center. This route is a good option if you don't want to get too tired — instead of climbing the 999 steps, you go down them.
