Xue Ruyi

Xue Ruyi, also known as the National Ski Jumping Center, is located in Chongli District, Zhangjiakou City. It served as the competition venue for ski jumping events at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. Its design is inspired by the traditional Chinese ornament "Ruyi." From the circular top of the jump to the profile lines and the stands at the bottom, it perfectly matches the S-shaped curve of the "Ruyi," reflecting the dynamic nature of sports architecture while highlighting Chinese cultural elements. Xue Ruyi is the world's first ski jumping venue with a large building at the top starting area. The main structure consists of the Mountain Peak Club at the top, the stadium at the bottom, and the competition area between them. The venue features two courses: the HS140 large hill and the HS106 normal hill, with all facilities and equipment meeting the highest international standards. During construction, Xue Ruyi adhered to the "Green Olympics" concept, implementing the three-star standard for green snow sports venues and using special tower cranes to transport materials to minimize environmental impact. On May 23, 2022, Xue Ruyi was awarded the 2022-2023 China Construction Engineering Luban Prize. After the Winter Olympics, Xue Ruyi operates year-round, hosting professional competitions, public events, and live performances. The surrounding Xue Ruyi Ski Resort is continuously being upgraded and will host multiple events such as the FIS Ski Jumping Continental Cup in the 2025-2026 season, along with special activities like "Sunset Parties," offering visitors a rich experience. ⏳ Visiting time: Sightseeing tickets cost 20 RMB per person, with a visit duration of 30 minutes to 1 hour.
