Zhuge Eight-Diagrams Village

#hellohalloween Zhuge Bagua village is a perfect family destination. Century-old pavillions filled with battle scenes from Three kingdoms novella. Creasy alleys and spooky mountain trees, narrow lanes create a pefect phantasy background for photoshoots in traditional clothing. Best time to visit - at the sunset. Choose your arbaletto, make a spooky aquagrim and wait for red sun in a narrow side alley to take a photo of your life, keeping bagua mirror beside. To add some charm, talk with local old ladies, selling unrecognizable dried supplies, called traditional herbs and self-made wood toys, with the fantastic backdrop of big pond and grey houses. Or imagine yourself NPC in Three kingdoms strategy computer game, tag-team with friends and make a real time quest. not forgetting to buy a scroll with Zhuge Liang citation. And all the easily reachable from Jinhua train station, Jianlan BRT and bus No.302 from Lanxi West bus station. Perfect way to escape in another reality #travel #lanxi #zhugeliang #threekingdomsvibes #hellohalloween

Jiaoshan Mountain

The weather in Zhenjiang was beautiful in May. The high-speed train from Nanjing South Station to Zhenjiang Station only took 20 minutes. We landed at Zhenjiang Station around 9:00 AM. We rode Hellobikes all the way to Jingji Road, where we went shopping and had breakfast. Then we rode to Jinshan Scenic Area. The temple and the Giant Buddha are quite majestic. If you're visiting during a long weekend, the crowds can be quite large, so just entering can take almost half an hour, and the entire tour took about two hours. There were performances along the way, and some areas were closed for renovations. We had lunch at Xijindu, where we enjoyed the famous pot-covered noodles, a side of braised pork, and the must-try Yangda yogurt. In the afternoon, we continued our bike ride to Beigushan Mountain. Compared to Jinshan Mountain, Beigushan is smaller and takes about an hour to explore. We then rode to the Yong'an Road Vegetable Market, famous for its pork belly, where we could buy some food. It was around 4:00 PM when we returned to Zhenjiang Station and took the high-speed train back home. Due to time constraints, I only had one day to explore, but a two-day trip would have been more effective. Near Xijindu, there's the Zhenjiang Museum, and the more distant Jiaoshan and Mengxi Garden near the Lucai Market are both possible the next day. There are also many options for morning tea. Zhenjiang, with its rich history, is a great place to visit. The advantage is that each attraction is within easy reach and can be easily reached by bicycle. The only drawback is that parking can be difficult due to the crowds. If you're renting a car or driving, be aware that there's often no parking available, so take public transportation whenever possible.
