Hello, I'm Seungjelly, a traveler💙 Today, I visited a cafe with a small brick house that looks like it came out of a fairy tale🏃🏻‍♀️ [Goesan Treehouse Garden] As you can tell from the name, Treehouse Garden is a cafe that catches your eye with a very large and pretty garden maintained by the owner himself and a treehouse that was my childhood dream❣️ Treehouse Garden is the 5th private garden in Chungcheongbuk-do and the 1st private garden in Goesan🍀 Usually, these gardens charge a separate entrance fee, but Treehouse has no separate admission fee if you order one drink per person👍🏻 When you come up the entrance, the small building on the left is the entrance to the cafe, and there are signs installed here and there so that you can easily view the inside of the garden🪧 When you cross the center of the garden, you can see the cute brick house in the main photo, which is an experiential learning center where children can experience nature. The village of Sanmaki in Chungcheongbuk-do is surrounded by mountains. This Seoul restaurant is run by a owner who has always dreamed of living in Seoul, of course, joking. He sent his children to study abroad in Seoul since they were young, and he always missed Seoul. This is also a joke. Olgaengi haejangguk is the main menu, and they open for business from early in the morning. The trail starts off gentle, winding through peaceful woods that seriously feel like they belong in a Ghibli film. Birds singing, soft breezes, and barely a soul around. Total reset for the brain. The path does get steeper in parts, but nothing too wild. Just enough to get a good sweat going without destroying your legs. Plus, there are a few rocky spots to keep things interesting. The summit isn’t super high, but man, the views still hit hard, rolling hills, little villages, and that calm, open sky. Hung out at the top with some gimbap and tea, just vibing. Not a tourist hotspot, which made it feel even more special. Perfect for a quiet weekend hike when you just wanna get away without doing a full-on mountain marathon. If you’re into peaceful trails with cozy views, Cheonghwasan’s a total win. Bring snacks, good tunes, and just enjoy the calm.

The path along Goesan Lake was still mostly green, and only a few red maple trees were slightly showing their faces. A cool breeze unique to autumn blew, and the afternoon sunlight warmly illuminated the path. As I walked along the well-maintained deck path, the scenery of the lake and the mountain slowly seeped into my heart. It wasn't a fancy season, but the less decorated nature felt more comfortable. It was a path that was good for just walking without complicated thoughts. The SanmagiOldRoad in early autumn was quietly preparing for the season.

🌳 The Sanmaki Lake Trail in Goesan, Chungbuk, is a restored path that follows the lake, crossing the Goesan Hydroelectric Power Plant and walking along the wooden deck trail. 🌲 As you walk along the wooden deck path surrounded by mountains and water, you feel as if you’ve become one with nature, letting go of all worries. You can take a break under the shade of pine trees or immerse yourself in endless contemplation while gazing at the lake. 🌴 Visiting Beopjusa Temple in Songnisan, Boeun, Chungbuk, is also a great idea. The forest trail leading up to Beopjusa is lush and perfect for walking. The combination of the mountain and the temple creates a stunning landscape. 🌳 You can explore the Palseongjeon and Daeungbojeon, which are designated as national treasures, and take a stroll around the temple grounds before heading back down the mountain trail. The village orchards are adorned with ripe, tempting apples. 🌲 I had a wonderful trip exploring the beautiful Chungcheong Province.
