Now it has expanded to open during the day from 11 am to 2 pm. Come and chill. There are not as many people as in the evening. You almost don’t need to book. . 🥗 Indy’s is a Western-style restaurant that has been open for a long time in Hang Dong. It started as a small shop on the canal with 4 tables. But now, it has moved into a house in an alley just a short distance from the original location. When you pass the entrance, you will find a peaceful gravel garden. Atmosphere: This place is outstanding with "Ob" or a canyon that water has eroded into strange-shaped rocks, especially "Ob Khan" which is a narrow canyon with clear, cool water flowing below. Some parts are suitable for swimming, walking along the stream, or taking cool adventure photos. Recommended activities: A short nature study hike that is not too tiring. Soak in the cool water of the Ob Khan stream, very refreshing. Chill out camping in the park's tent area. Take photos with strangely shaped rocks and beautiful river angles. Watch the sunset on the hills above the park. The atmosphere is very romantic. Pros: Nature is still pristine, quiet. No need to walk far to experience beautiful views. There are officers to take care of and provide excellent information. The entrance fee is affordable. Things to know: -You should prepare shoes for walking through water. - You should bring your own food and drinks because there are few shops inside. - Summer (March–May) the water level will be low, but it is easy to walk and take beautiful pictures. - During the rainy season, be careful of flash floods. Do not risk going into the water if it rains. Ob Khan National Park is therefore suitable for those who want to escape the chaos and absorb the energy of nature in an easy way without having to climb a heavy mountain. Accommodation Review: Flora Creek - Krisada Doi, Chiang Mai This Chiang Mai trip, we stayed at Flora Creek at Krisada Doi. I must say that this is a very nice and quiet place to stay. It's perfect for recharging your batteries. Room: We booked a Superior Type room, but the hotel upgraded us to a Deluxe Type without any additional charges. If you want something more luxurious, they also have a Pool Villa. Getting there: The hotel is about 30 minutes from the city center. The way up is the same way to Wat Phra That Doi Kham, but you have to go a little further. If you come at night, be careful because it's quite dark. Inside the room: The room we got was on the second floor. At the back, there's a small waterfall. The sound of the water flowing gently is very relaxing. The room is spacious, has a high ceiling, is airy, and the bed is very soft. It's so comfortable that you don't want to get up. The bathroom has separate wet and dry zones. There's also a bathtub. The water pressure is good. It feels like a spa. Recommended dishes include pork chop, melon ham, beef steak, and foie gras risotto, which tastes great. In addition, the mushroom soup and mashed potatoes are also well-made. For dessert, I recommend Tiramisu, followed by Banoffee. The cheesecake tastes quite ordinary. The restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere, air-conditioning, and a modern food ordering system by scanning the QR Code at the table, which is convenient and fast. The food prices are reasonable. It is a temple of historical and architectural significance, especially the "Loha Prasat" or "Phra That Si Mueang Pong", which is the first Lanna-style metal castle in the world. The metal castle is located on the hill behind the temple. It stands out with its beautiful and unique architecture. The temple and murals: Inside the temple, there are murals that tell the story of the faith in Buddhism of the Lanna people. Visitors can worship and pay homage to the metal castle to enhance their auspiciousness. In addition, from the metal castle area, you can see a beautiful view of Hang Dong District. Travel Wat Aranyawas is located in Hang Dong District, approximately 20 kilometers from Chiang Mai city. You can travel by taking Highway No. 1269 (Chiang Mai-Samoeng route).
