I finally have the chance to check in at Wanzhuhao! When it comes to Keelung coffee shops, everyone always recommends this one. This time I specially chose to come here on a weekday at noon, and I loved it as soon as I arrived. The high-ceilinged space and mottled cement walls of the converted old house are unpretentious yet full of flavor. This time I ordered the raw milk roll, which was really amazing. Not to mention the delicious tangerines, the raw milk roll cake is extremely soft, and when you dig into the raw milk part in the middle, you can smell the very rich tea aroma. From Keelung Train Station, take Bus 101 for about 20 minutes, and you'll arrive directly at Peace Island Geopark. However, I personally recommend wandering around the Keelung Harbor area first—take some photos of the harbor scenery or grab some snacks before heading out! Before entering Peace Island, make sure to purchase your tickets online. Not only does it save time, but you can also sign up for the early bird guided tour, where a professional guide explains everything on-site. It's super interesting, and the rock formations are incredibly photogenic—some resemble tofu, others look like turtles. You'll want to snap photos of them all! The park's route is well-planned, with clear signs along the way. There's even a pavilion in the middle of the park, and I highly recommend taking a break there. Feel the sea breeze and listen to the sound of the waves—it's incredibly soothing! You might not want to leave! As you continue walking, you'll reach a water play area. Be sure to wear non-slip shoes to enjoy splashing around and wading in the water—it’s so refreshing! And don’t worry if you get wet; there are foot-washing and shower facilities here. Plus, there’s a shop nearby where you can buy ice pops. Playing in the water and then enjoying an ice pop—life doesn’t get better than this! Afterward, take the same bus back to Keelung and make sure to visit Miaokou Night Market for dinner! On a sunny afternoon, I decided to visit this tower to find the perfect viewpoint where history and scenery of Keelung intertwine. As I entered Zhongzheng Park, a refreshing sea breeze greeted me, accompanied by the sounds of birds chirping and visitors laughing. The winding path leading to Keelung Tower is flanked by dense forests, lush and vibrant, making one feel at ease. Occasionally looking up, I could see the white silhouette of the tower top peeking through the treetops, carrying a serene call. Upon reaching the top of the tower, the view instantly broadened. The picturesque scenery of Keelung Harbor unfolded before my eyes, with ships docked in the harbor, bustling piers, and the distant blue sea and sky complementing each other. The sea breeze gently brushed by, carrying a moist salty taste, allowing one to feel the soul of this port city. Turning around, the cityscape of Keelung, with its layered buildings and distant green mountains, formed a harmonious urban painting. Standing at the top of the tower, I seemed to hear the sound of waves hitting the harbor and the bustling rhythm of this city day and night. This tower is not only a viewing platform but also a symbol closely connected to the history and culture of Keelung. It has witnessed the changes of the city and carries the expectations of countless visitors for the future. As the sun gradually set, the lights of Keelung Harbor lit up one after another, transitioning the harbor from the hustle and bustle of the day to the tranquility of the night. Keelung Tower, under the glow of the sunset and lights, appeared particularly tall and serene. As I left the top of the tower, I looked back at the city once more, feeling a sense of awe: Keelung Tower is not only a place to overlook beautiful scenery but also a spiritual beacon that evokes reflection and reverence.
