Maldives Island Selection Guide|I Have No Objection to a Colorful Life
This time I came to Baglioni Island, a niche six-star all-inclusive island, to completely relax my body and mind, lying back to enjoy life and food. During my days in the Maldives, you say life is colorful day and night, and I completely agree, even wholeheartedly approve.
☀️
The sun in the Maldives is domineering; it strips away people's masks and fatigue without argument, leaving only a real, light body floating on the shallow beach.
🍹
The seawater is a bluish green, like a layered cocktail mixed with bright pigments, dazzling to the eyes but never boring to look at.
🥥
I lie on the water villa’s terrace, watching a white egret stand on one leg on the coral reef. It stands very steadily, as if it was born to be there. The waiter brings an ice-cold coconut, droplets of water condense on the green skin, a straw is inserted at an angle, making a slight "pop" sound.
🌊
At this moment, the sunlight bakes the teak floor, releasing the scent of pine resin. My skin and hair still carry the fragrance of the full set of Acqua di Parma toiletries provided by the hotel.
💎
The Italian newlywed couple honeymooning in the villa next door often pass by; the bride’s Graff fiery diamond ring dazzles and blinds with every gesture.
🐢
In the afternoon, snorkeling under the scorching sun, schools of fish pour by like silver coins. A hawksbill turtle swims slowly; its eyes look like two large amber stones. I blow a stream of bubbles underwater, and they rush to the surface one after another, which is very interesting.
🎙️
At dusk, the Italian singer at the live house plays "Summer Finale" at the bar. I toast him with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. He tells me the canals of Venice are drying up. "Go see it soon," he says, "we are all racing against disappearance." Lost in thought, he doesn’t hear me say I’ve already been there. His eyelashes turn golden in the sunset glow, reminding me of the pigeons at the Rialto Bridge at dusk.
🔋
During the days on the island, I hardly checked social media; my phone stayed fully charged from morning till night. Indeed, in the glory of nature’s creation, the junk information and low-level pleasures on the phone are all meaningless.
⏰
At midnight, the tide rises, waves hitting the pillars. On the bedside table is the sunrise timetable for tomorrow morning; at 6:20, the sun will rise punctually from the blue tears of the Indian Ocean.
🌍
The Earth is warming, canals are drying up, youth is passing.
But as long as I live in the moment and seize joy,
It’s never too late for anything.
