Regrets in Egypt: The transfer from Taiwan to Egypt was very over, first I stopped in Malaysia (I was in a good mood because I ate Din Tai Fung at the airport which was cheaper than in Taiwan), then I stopped in the United Arab Emirates (dates are more expensive than in Egypt, prices are high, I just window shopping to see what is on sale at the airport during the transfer), and finally landed in Cairo. This trip was like being a frequent flyer 😂😂😂 Not going to the Abu Simbel Temple and Aswan in the southernmost part is probably the biggest regret of coming to Egypt. If I were to go to Egypt again, I would definitely choose these two tours. It's a pity that I can only visit this country once in my life. I was very moved when I saw the cuneiform writing on the wall of the temple, which reminded me of Jay Chou's "Love in BC". I don't want to take another trip that requires sleeping on the train (the journey from Giza to Luxor requires a train, which takes about 12 hours), because I will vomit. The train berths are very small and not easy to sleep in. They are more crowded than a larger single bed. I have a very deep impression of them. The dinner was terrible. The baby in the suitcase may have been thrown around during the luggage transportation, and the baby burst and attracted real Mickey. Sleeping in a small berth with no toilet and only one faucet without a shower feels like the last choice when you have to escape to a safe place during the war 😅 You can only use the public toilet to wash your face and remove makeup. It can be said that "overcoming difficulties" is probably the most expressive feeling of this train trip. I sought help from the conductor and found that he looked like Brenner in "Murder on the Orient Express" with a high nose. He seemed helpless. Rats are creatures that run around and humans don't like. I was afraid that the train would be late, so I crossed half the world. I hadn't taken a shower for more than two and a half days. I woke up at 6 a.m. and stared quietly at the scenery outside the window of the train. The obelisk is a masterpiece of ancient Egypt and the most distinctive symbol of ancient Egyptian civilization besides the pyramids. The obelisk is in the shape of a pointed square column, gradually shrinking from bottom to top, and its top is shaped like the tip of a pyramid. There are 29 obelisks originating from ancient Egypt in the world, of which 9 are currently preserved in Egypt. Carving and erecting an obelisk was an arduous undertaking. I was deeply shocked when I witnessed it with my own eyes in Egypt.

#newyearadventure We took a fantastic journey around a very small part of Egypt, we took the bus to relaxing Dahab stayed 5 days, then off to chaotic Cairo 🙈😂👌🏽, we stayed 8 days and explored lots.. zoo, cairo tower, dream park, aquarium grotto gardens and lots more, then onto tanta for a few days and it has lots of hustle and bustle and then onto beautiful alexandria.. just for a day we had a beautiful meal and walked along the sea and visited the fort.. all definitely worth a visit #urbanexplorer

My journey to Egypt last year is my most successful accomplishment thus far. Not only was it a dream come true as my first trip to Africa, but it was also a major healing moment, as it provided some closure for a very traumatic chapter of my life. It was a very powerful, soul-cleansing, and healing experience. Ever since my twin brother passed, I felt the desire to do something special with his ashes in honor of his life. So last year for our birthday, I took some of his remains to Egypt with me and spread them around the Valley of the Kings, so he can rest amongst the ancient Kings and Pharaohs, because in my mind that's where he belonged. My brother's death never made sense to me. It left a void in my life and I always questioned the purpose of it all. On the outskirts of Dahab, there is a 'Blue Hole' called a mecca for divers🙌🏻 A Blue Hole is a type of sinkhole in the ocean, and because the terrain gets deeper rapidly, it is a darker blue than the surrounding area! The depth of Dahab Blue Hole is said to be as deep as 130m..🤭 However, I visited here just to get a drink since I couldn't go into the water the day before my sister left Our goal was to look down on the Blue Hole from above ◡̈ But I didn't know how or where to go, so I wandered around for a while.. One of the Egyptians who were gathered in front of the shower facility took the lead and brought us there!
