Visiting Wucun for the third time!! Who said Wucun isn’t fun?
La la la, this week I took the kids to Wucun again,
this is already the third time bringing the kids here😃
Wucun is just too, too, too interesting—fishing, archery, various DIY crafts, the kids simply can’t stop playing.
This time we still chose the all-inclusive package for two adults and one child (accommodation + meals + sightseeing + activities all covered), making it easier for adults and more enjoyable for kids✌
Wucun is part of the Wuzhen scenic area. We left Ningbo and arrived at Wucun in two hours, then took a shuttle directly to the hotel. There are two styles of hotels in Wucun: Wucun homestays and Daoshe Country Hotel. Staying at Daoshe Hotel makes it more convenient to join activities. On the first floor, there’s a heated swimming pool, Daole Restaurant, and Gengdu Book Bar. Even non-guests can come here to participate in activities~
We booked a twin standard room with two 1.35-meter beds that can be pushed together~
·
Here is a two-day, one-night travel guide I put together,
which can be a reference for those bringing kids to play~
·
【Wucun Village Entrance】: Upon entering, first pick up a Wucun map, then get tickets at the fish pond security booth for the Rainbow Mini Train. Take a ride around Wucun to enjoy the scenery and listen to the village introduction. This week, we even caught some beautiful flowers on camera. Wucun is truly an ideal outdoor childhood dreamland for kids~
【Village Coffee Bar】You can collect meal vouchers here. The coffee bar is pet-friendly 🐶🐱, so little animals can happily play here too. The decor is especially cute!!
【Archery Range】Experience outdoor archery with separate areas for adults and kids. Adults and children can compete against each other.
【Petting Zoo】Feed little goats, rabbits, and other animals. Kids can interact closely with the animals and feed these adorable creatures.
【Mill Shop】Be sure to have a cup of freshly ground original soy milk made by hand with a stone mill. This experience is quite novel and interesting for city folks like us~
【Children’s Playhouse】A Lego-style playground with building blocks, colored sand, painting and climbing walls, picture book reading, VR/gaming machines, and many more activities. Kids aged 4-12 can even apply for daycare services, so adults can find a scenic spot to relax. My little one is younger and only likes playing with Lego blocks😂
【Zhiqing Restaurant】A completely rustic farmhouse-style restaurant. The seasonal vegetables are really fresh, as if they were just picked from the field and served immediately. The taste is quite good too~
【Treehouse】A super atmospheric wooden house on a big tree, perfect for photos. I strongly recommend everyone climb up to see it—there will be surprises waiting for you~
【Afternoon Tea】Try Wuzhen’s specialty Wuzhou wine at the Jiuxiang shop.
【Gengdu Book Bar】A two-story library inside Daoshe Hotel, also featuring cultural and creative products. It’s full of artistic vibes and great for photos😊
【KTV】This activity is free for all-inclusive guests who can book in advance for one hour of free singing😀. The private room is huge and even has some children’s toys, so kids can play around freely. There’s a special selection of children’s songs. Our little one is so young, it was basically just watching cartoons🤣
【Bonfire Party】In the evening, we took the kids to their favorite bonfire party. Everyone gathered around the fire, singing and dancing, laughing and having fun. It really helps forget many worries.
【Collecting Eggs】On Sunday morning, despite being tired from the day before, the kids got up early to collect eggs🥚. Haha, it was my first time knowing that fresh eggs are still warm.
By the way, be sure to download the “Wucun Trip Assistant” app before going. It clearly shows the schedule of many activities, so you won’t miss the ones you want to join✌
Lastly, a little reminder: after checking out on the second day, don’t throw away your wristband. Wearing the wristband allows free entry and exit to Wuzhen West Scenic Area✌✌✌
