It was proposed to establish the Ayutthaya Historical Study Center, consisting of the main building located on Rojana Road, next to Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Rajabhat University in the city island and the annexed building located in the area that used to be the Japanese Village, Ko Rian Subdistrict. This center is a national research institute for Ayutthaya studies, especially Thai history during the time when Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya was the capital.
