The riverside in Yichang at night is indeed like a flowing painting, so beautiful that every step exudes charming charm. Starting from Binjiang Park, this night tour began its brilliant prologue. In the Riverside Park, lights gently shine on the green trees and lawns, reflecting the waves of the river in the distance, bringing a touch of coolness and comfort to the summer nights. Walking slowly along the riverside trail, you can hear the sound of the river water lapping against the shore, which interweaves with the occasional laughter coming from afar, forming a symphony of a summer night. Passing through the tranquility of the Riverside Park, we arrived at the Da Nanmen Ferry. Here, history and modernity are interwoven into a unique landscape. At the ancient ferry, neon lights flicker, illuminating the ancient city walls and reflecting the smiling faces of tourists passing by. Standing next to the ferry, it seems as if you can travel through time and space, and feel the city’s rich historical heritage and booming modern atmosphere. Continue walking along the river, and you will see Zhenjiang Pavilion standing quietly not far away. This is an antique building. At night, it is brightly lit and its reflection in the river creates a beauty that seems out of this world. Climb up the Zhenjiang Pavilion and look out from the railing, you can have a panoramic view of the night view of the entire Yichang city, with dim lights and twinkling stars, which makes people indulge in the tranquility and beauty. Binjiang Park is located in the center of Yichang city, lying on the bank of the Yangtze River, 11.3 kilometers long and 65 meters wide on average. It is an open park by the street and the water. In the overall planning of Yichang city, Binjiang Park is one of the main scenic spots in the city, and it is the main symbol of the 'Riverside Garden City'. Binjiang Park fully embodies the characteristics of riverside gardens and modern cultural style, with green as the main color, scenery supporting the garden, and integrating openness, ornamental, recreational, and leisure. The former Binjiang Park was a river beach. With the construction of the Gezhouba Dam project on the Yangtze River, the government invested more than 50 million yuan to build an 800-meter-long embankment along the river. In 1984, the municipal government invested more than 10 million yuan to build a number of attractions such as Shuangting Square and Zhenjiang Pavilion. In 2001, in order to cooperate with the transformation of the riverside landscape, the Yichang municipal government invested funds to add fireworks lights, contour lights and spotlights in Shuangting Square, and added a row of landscape lights at the riverside guardrail, becoming a striking landscape line. The green color of Binjiang Park constitutes the main color of the park. It was built in the 38th year of Kangxi and is now an antique building rebuilt in the 1980s. It covers an area of 1336 square meters, with a building area of 536 square meters. The pavilion is divided into four layers, with flying eaves and corners, golden tiles and silver ridges, 26.29 meters high, with 34 coiled dragon columns on the top and a green stone carved dragon Sumeru seat on the bottom, with a white marble carved railing. Looking far away from the pavilion, the beautiful scenery of Gezhouba Dam and the city is in sight. Qu Yuan statue: The white marble statue hidden in the jungle is the ancient patriotic poet Qu Yuan. He faces the big river with white hair and the sky, worries about the country and the people, and is righteous and stern. This garden building condenses the simple and elegant style of the ancient teachings of the North, the unique and small style of Suzhou gardens, the 'borrowing shadow from distant mountains' of the Summer Palace and the reflection of water and sky, the abstraction and unrestrained style of modern art, and brings tourists into the museum of architectural art, receiving patriotic education and artistic edification in a subtle way. Shuangting Square: On the top of the main entrance of Binjiang Park, there are four big characters of 'Binjiang Park' written by the famous calligrapher Shu Tong. The advertisements of 'Three Gorges holding out Yichang City, the world rising hydropower city' standing on both sides of the front door are the tourist image of Yichang city. Behind the gate is the square, named Shuangting Square because there are double-layer octagonal glazed pavilions standing on both sides of the river. On both sides of the square are two green spaces covering about 1.9 square meters and 1.5 square meters, which are connected with the upper and lower landscapes of the park, and are the places where tourists are most concentrated.

🥳After one or two years of transformation, Yichang Riverside is getting more and more beautiful. Visiting Yichang is not complete without seeing the night view. You can take a boat tour or walk.
