📍Bristol City Museum and Art Gallery🖼 is one of the largest museums and art galleries in the UK.
📍It is located in Clifton, a suburb of Bristol, only 0.8 kilometers from the city center and is open to the public free of charge. The museum houses important world-class collections, including geology, East Asian art, and collections related to Bristol's local history and culture. In January 2012, the museum became one of the sixteen most important museums in cooperation with the British Arts Council.

📍Bristol box-shaped kite plane🛩 also hung above the lobby. Mummies and sarcophagi go back to ancient Egypt, while stone reliefs give you a glimpse into the history of the Assyrian Empire. You can also learn about the aquatic wildlife of southwest England.
📍Go to the first floor to see specimens of endangered, extinct and rare animals, including Alfred the gorilla, who once lived at Bristol Zoo, and the Tasmanian tiger.

📍A variety of gemstones, fossils and minerals, such as the 200-million-year-old Bristol diamond, are also unique. The top floor of the museum is dedicated to art. Paintings by Giovanni Bellini, Jacob van Ruisdael and other European masters, as well as works from the Victorian and Edwardian eras, are all here.
