The overall atmosphere is very European! Must-order items include apple pie and Kaiserschmarrn, but the coffee is a bit bitter (Öfferl's coffee is much better). It is a royal shop and is said to be Princess Sisi's favorite cafe. Her favorite is Sacher-torte (#萨赫蛋糕 /#沙河蛋糕 )❤️ A chocolate cake covered with chocolate sauce. The outer layer of chocolate sauce and fresh cream can balance out the dryness of the cake. The coffee shop also offers #皇煎饼 takeaway (the queue is long and there is also a takeaway stall at the back of the store). And because Austrian cuisine is relatively simple and easy to get sick of, after two people shared it, 1/3 was left to take away. It is strongly recommended to make an appointment in advance. Address - Cafe Vienna, is one of the most well know spot in Vienna to eat some of the local handmade Apple strudel.. they are also very well known for their coffee - it is located in the main area of Vienna(center) Ambiance/Facilities - near the cafe there are many stores and restaurants Highlights - The strudel was ok, I would have to say that we had better one elsewhere for a cheaper price, but the inside it is very particular and well designed. Avg. Price per Person - 8 euro for coffee, 6 for cakes, and around 15 for strudel or pancakes. #celebratewithtrip This place is ABSOLUTELY worth the wait. I have queued for around 30mins before being able to get a table for two. (On a Sunday Afternoon 3pm) I heard that this is actually one of the top restaurants and top cafes in Vienna and was even listed in one of the to do list in Vienna. Served with great hospitality, romantic and beautiful ambience and with great piano music playing in the background. I really have nothing to pick on. English Menu is available. Coffee is good. Main Dish is good. Soup is Good. Dessert is good too. Waiter came over 2-3times to ask if everything is good and alright. Had breaded chicken and traditional Vienna Soup. The gorgeous architecture and high arches are full of European classical style. Walking into the store is like traveling back to the imperial era. There are often long queues outside the store. While waiting, you can see traditional horse-drawn carriages slowly passing by. Even cars will give way. The scene is quite interesting and very European. If you choose a cake when ordering, the waiter will ask you to choose in front of the glass cabinet at the door. It doesn't matter if you don't speak the language. You can just take a photo to show the waiter. They are friendly and patient. When checking out, in addition to choosing to swipe the card or cash, the waiter will also politely ask whether to tip. It depends on your personal situation! The overall dining experience is very pleasant and it is a stop you can't miss when you come to Vienna.

When I spread it on the bread, I thought, "Wow, this is sexy food!" The croissant was crispy yet soft, making it a perfect light breakfast. Since I don’t drink coffee, I paired it with orange juice, which turned out to be a great combination. Cake (€6.90) Since I was already there, I decided to try a cake as well. Honestly, it was a bit underwhelming—too sweet for my taste. (Apparently, Café Central is more famous for its coffee and ambiance rather than its desserts.) Still, the experience of enjoying dessert in such a magnificent space was worthwhile.

Vienna in February was truly a dream. It has always been my dream to ice-skate in outdoor Vienna and Wiener Eistraum was super pretty. There were lockers available for rent but I just hid my shoes behind a bench. 😆 There was also curling but I didn’t try. I could have stayed a few hours but the rental boots were too stiff. I then walked to Votive Church for Light of Creation show. It was very pretty and really enjoyable the first 15 minutes then it started to feel a bit long. I would recommend the seats towards the back so you can see the whole show without flipping your head back! And breakfast at Cafe Gertsner! It was so delicious I’m still dreaming about it! The setting was gorgeous. Another iconic cafe that everyone should visit is Cafe Central. Reservations highly recommended for both places.

The pork chops are thin, so the meat is not very tough. With the not too thick batter, it is not greasy. I highly recommend it. Vienna Old Soup tastes very similar to Tainan beef soup, but it contains beef, chicken, some thin noodles and dumplings with a very special taste. It's a good choice for a bowl when the weather is cold. The famous desserts here are chocolate cake and apple pie. We were told that it was closed when we went there around 5:45pm because it was open until 6pm on the day of our reservation, so make sure to arrive at least 30 minutes before closing! 💦 Cafe Sacher is the birthplace of Sachertorte, and there was a very long line. The shop is spacious, so I think the turnover rate is good. The Sachertorte wasn't too sweet, had a strong berry flavor, and was delicious without being too heavy! The other rice dishes looked delicious too✨ The interior of Cafe Central is like a church, so we had a very elegant time. There was also live piano music.

#celebrateit Went to eat Viennese breakfast in the old Viennese cafe of 1876. This cafe was visited by many famous people of that time so being there brings you to another century. The decor of the cafe is just beautiful and the cafe is rather popular. We were there for breakfast and there were free tables still but when we were leaving the cafe there was a long waiting line just in front of the entrance, so take this into account.

#getgoing2025 Café Central Always a long line, but definitely worth the wait! I went on a rainy evening so I didn't have to wait too long to get in. The food is very good, especially the Gulaschsuppe! It is a traditional soup that originated in Hungary, but is also common in Vienna. Although there are quite a few seats inside, if you visit in the afternoon, there will be a lot of customers, but the wait is not too long. The management system is quite efficient.
