Cafe Kentaro is a hidden Japanese fusion brunch restaurant in Sydney's Surry Hills. The exterior is cute and warm, but the interior is quite spacious and comfortable, making it a great place to enjoy a leisurely meal. I ordered Kentaro Omelet Rice and Katsu Sando. The Omelet Rice is a soft omelet with tomato fried rice and salty miso mushroom gravy, which is a great combination of flavors! The Katsu Sando is a thick pork cutlet fried crispy, and the moist bread, cabbage, and special sauce go well together. The moment I took a bite, I thought, "This is the real deal." The matcha latte was also rich and clean, making it perfect for finishing off with a dessert. Overall, the plating was pretty, and the staff was friendly, so it was a cafe with high satisfaction.
