The next morning, I quickly booked a train ticket, packed my bag, and headed out. I only booked accommodation for the night while on the train. I didn’t get to try the tofu skin. So this time, Da Chi Tofu Skin Shop became the sole goal of my trip. Thank goodness for Google Maps. The Chishang rice fields are located near Chishang Train Station. Around the rice fields, there are many shops renting electric scooters and bicycles.

The Diamond Sutra was exhibited by three artists, Jiang Xun, Zeng Yongling and Dong Chenglian, at the Chihshang Barn. There is an oil painting in the exhibition called The Garden of Solitude, which depicts animals sitting quietly in the forest. Looking at this painting, one can feel the tranquility and peace, as well as the insignificance of human beings, which is very touching. Another special one is the 88 auspicious Dharma wheels of self-attachment and selflessness. Written by Dong Chenglian, it uses mirrors to create a kaleidoscope-like world.
