Coogee is one of the representative beaches of Sydney, following Bondi! The ocean itself is so beautiful, but the walking path and hills surrounding the ocean blend so well together that it's a healing pot. 🌱 If you take a direct bus from City or Martin Place, it takes about 40 minutes! There are various cafes, pubs, and burger shops nearby, so you can go and enjoy a light meal. It's the perfect place to grab a wet towel after swimming and eat some french fries while wearing a hood. The interior of the store isn't that big, but the taste of takeout while feeling the sea breeze is pretty good. It's an atmosphere where basic menus like warm French fries or McNuggets taste especially delicious. There are a lot of people, but the turnover is fast, and since it's near the beach, it feels like you can just stop by casually. I really liked the quiet and secluded feeling. It was nice to see locals walking around with a cup of coffee, and families or friends spending leisurely time together. The Coogee Pavilion and nearby cafes are also nice, so it's nice to take a break and have a cup of coffee. The road isn’t too complicated, and the ocean is right in front of you as soon as you get off, so it’s a structure that makes you feel good for no reason. It’s not as famous as Bondi, but that’s why it’s even better. It’s not crowded, and the waves are calm and the atmosphere is relaxed. There are people swimming, people lying on the sand and basking in the sun, and children running around happily. As I walked along the promenade along the beach, there were quite a few people sitting on rocks and looking at the ocean, and it was really like a picture. I just sat there and stared blankly for a while. There are also many cafes and pubs near the beach, so it’s nice to have a cup of coffee, and it’s a perfect place to spend the whole day slowly. 📍 Location: Coogee Beach, NSW 🕰 TIP: It’s quieter and better if you go on a weekday morning

Just looking at the calm waves and the wide sandy beach is soothing. Families and friends are relaxing on the lawn, and people eating brunch at a cafe near the beach are also leisurely and nice. There are rocky areas at the end of the beach, so it’s nice to walk around and look around, and there are many good spots to sit quietly and blank out. It’s also the end of the coastal walkway from Bondi to Coogee, so it was a great place to end a leisurely day. Personally, I liked the time sitting on a bench near the sea and drinking coffee while feeling the breeze. Coogee is a beach that “doesn’t have to do anything.” 📍 Location: Coogee Beach, Sydney Eastern Suburbs 🕰 Recommended time: Early in the morning or around sunset (there are fewer people and the sunlight is soft)

Itinerary DAY 1： - arrived at accommodation. Staying in somewhere near the rocks is an amazing area that has easy access to so many amazing things - Sunday markets at millers point. Great food and cool souvenirs - walk from markets to the opera house. Really nice views and shops along the way - Go visit Benny the seal. He is usually lying at the steps near the back of the opera house when the sun is out. - Wingstop for dinner. Long wait but food is nice especially since it is the only one in Australia DAY 2: - Wake up early and walk from Bondi beach to Coogee beach. The walk is long but beautiful so it’s totally worth it - Get fro yo after the walk at Yo-chi. It’s super yummy especially after a long walk - Get an uber to the art gallery. It was much more impressive than I anticipated. Super big and so much to see. - Walk over to the museum. Nice exhibitions. Also stop at the cathedral on the way to the museum it is quite nice. - For dinner went to a place called flight club. Super nice vibe and you can play darts there. Food was also very tasty. They also have a fun disco music telephone booth at the entrance where you call a number in the phone booth and it plays different songs. Very cool. DAY 3: - Shopping at Westfield. Quite a lot of shops. - Visit china town - Explore the botanic gardens. They are huge and very nice. Nice views of harbour bridge and opera house too. - head to observatory hill for an amazing sunset 🏨 Accommodation - Millers point Waterview share house. Plenty of space and amenities. Not super duper clean but it’s still fine. Great location and a very nice place overall if you’re not too picky and on a budget. 🍴 Food Recommendations - Flight club -Wingstop 📌 Tips - If you stay in a convenient location in the cbd you will have a much nicer and more convenient time in Sydney

The coastal walk from Bondi Beach to Coogee Beach takes about 3 hours, Bondi Beach → Tamarama → Bronte → Clovelly Beach → Coogee Beach. The 6-kilometer long hiking route connects five beaches, large and small, and each one is a painting. On the way, you will pass Waverley Cemetery, one of the most beautiful cemeteries in the world, where the poet Henry Lawson and other Australian celebrities sleep. Sitting by the cemetery, looking at the sea, feeling the blend of nature and history, I just feel that my mind is blank and time is suspended. transportation: 1. Depart from central Sydney, take bus or train to Bondi Junction, then transfer to bus 333 or 380 to go directly to the beach. After your walk, you can take bus 373 from Bondi back to Coogee. If you want to deeply experience the free life in Australia, you must take a hike along this coastline. On the way, I became even more convinced of the saying, what troubles can Australians have? There's a lovely adjacent park that's perfect for picnics and relaxation, making it an ideal spot for gatherings. If you have little ones, they'll have a blast playing in the sand. What's great is the presence of multiple canals that lead to the beach at the corner. This area is perfect for kids to build sandcastles, dig, and channel water for endless fun. Parking can be a bit of a challenge, with limited space right next to the beach. However, there are alternatives nearby. You can find parking at Woolworth Metro, and Dan Murphy's paid parking lots. So, don't let the parking deter you from enjoying the beauty and serenity of Coogee Beach. It's a must-visit spot for anyone in Sydney, offering a perfect blend of relaxation and fun by the sea.
