Here is a plan for touring Rome on foot, which is a classic example! ! ① Colosseum (photos 1 and 2) The starting point is the Colosseum, a symbol of Rome. It is a circular arena built about 2000 years ago. When I actually went there, it was bigger than I imagined, about the size of the Tokyo Dome. I was amazed that the ancient Roman civilization could build such a magnificent arena 2000 years ago. If you want to see the inside, you need to purchase a ticket online in advance, otherwise you won't be able to enter on the day, so be careful! ! ② Roman Forum (photo 3) Next is the Roman Forum, about a 2-minute walk from the Colosseum. 🤍 This is also a large square where you can feel the history of ancient Rome. Here’s the route I followed and everything I wish I knew before I went! 🚩 Sightseeing Route I started at the Colosseum early in the morning (before the crowds), then wandered through the Roman Forum and up to Palatine Hill — you can actually feel the history there. After that, I walked to the Pantheon, grabbed a quick coffee, and finished the day watching the sunset from the Spanish Steps.
