"Taichung One-Day Tour" From high-altitude hot pot to hipster streets, a leisurely and pleasant exploration journey
This one-day trip to Taichung was arranged quite easily, and the first stop was "Mu Ming Hot Pot". As soon as you step into this hot pot restaurant on a high floor, the scene before you is amazing. Through the floor-to-ceiling windows, you can have an unobstructed view of the city of Taichung, as if you can see the mountains in the distance and the bustle of the city. The ingredients are fresh and the meat is delicious, especially the beef slices, which melt in your mouth after being lightly dipped in the broth. The service here is also very considerate. The waiters will adjust the heat for us from time to time, so that we can slowly enjoy this double feast of vision and taste.
After finishing the meal, I happened to find Rec Coffee downstairs, so I went in to take a break. This cafe is spacious, with a simple yet warm atmosphere and a fresh Japanese feel. I ordered a cup of the signature latte, which had a rich coffee aroma and a smooth taste. As I sipped it carefully, I seemed to be able to feel the store's attentiveness. The window seat is a great place to relax, and the occasional glimpse of pedestrians on the street will make you unconsciously want to slow down.
In the evening, we came to the Green Light Project, which is a small street full of literary and artistic atmosphere. You can see many specialty shops along the way, selling handmade crafts and vintage groceries, each of which reflects the owner's careful attention. Walking through it, you can seem to feel the unique charm of this street. Finally, I decided to stop at the Dumpling Institute to enjoy fried dumplings. Their icy fried dumplings particularly caught my attention. The golden crispy skin on the fried dumplings is crispy and tender when you bite it, and the filling is juicy and sweet, making you want to eat one after another.
This trip allowed me to fully appreciate the charm of Taichung. Whether it was the beautiful hot pot scenery from high in the sky or the literary and artistic pieces on the streets, it was a rare enjoyment. Such a casual and surprising one-day tour is undoubtedly a good choice for urban people to relax for a short time.
