The Utah State Capitol is one of the most beautiful capitols in the world. It has stunning artwork, brilliant architecture and sits on a high hilltop which offers an incredible view across Salt Lake City. The statue of the first female senator elected to congress, Martha Hughes Cannon, is impressive too. This is a great photo location as it’s full of marble stone work and statues.

The artificial colorful Danxia of the Big Copper Mine passed through Salt Lake City when entering Yellowstone. A large chimney stood at the foot of the Great Salt Lake overlooking the mountain.
