The accommodation is a capsule type, near Chinatown MRT station and Maxwell Food Center MRT station. There are many places to eat and important tourist attractions are the famous temples of the Indian people, Sri Mariamman Temple, which is near the accommodation and the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple, which is not far from the accommodation, which is near the Maxwell Food Center. Along the way in the alley, there is street art that can be seen in some alleys. In the morning, we will travel to the Maxwell Food Center. There are many foods to choose from and there are quite a few street restaurants to choose from.

We stayed at a hotel called Galaxy pods china town, which is next to China town. We 📍Here, we sleep in a box that looks like a space shuttle. Inside, there are buttons to adjust different modes and a TV, but we've never turned it on. 📍The rooms have 2 floors, floors 2 and 3. Each floor has 12 rooms, with rooms for 2 and 1 person. 📍A large room for 2 people costs 7,600~ for 3 nights, a small room for 1 person costs 3,600~ baht (depending on whether the baht is weak or strong). 📍There are 2 shared bathrooms, separated for men and women, but in reality, we use the room that's available. We don't have to prepare a hair dryer, it's provided. 📍If the power plug inside the sleeping compartment is broken, we have to charge it outside and watch it. If something goes missing, they won't be responsible, but there are security cameras. 📍For those who have already checked out, you can leave your bags with the accommodation. Pros: Cheap and economical. #visitsingapore I've heard stories of people living in tube shaped pods, which will have space just enough to sleep, in Japan 🗾 But this is my first time experiencing one such pod, albeit in Singapore which is another space constraint city 🌆 I proclaim myself to be a minimalist in many ways, and with the same notion I was super interested in giving this a try. But rather my feeling was awry and kinda felt like I was put in a confined space (despite the fact that it was my choice 😜). To be honest, the place was super neat and had a decent common bathroom 🪥; but won't recommend for a family vacation.
