Had the most amazing time living the island life here. Got to snorkel off the beach where we saw big turtles, watched an outdoor movie on the beach with cocktails, had the best food with great value for money and did a boat tour where we saw baby turts, amazing corals, island hopped and underwater statues! Travel tip: make sure you get your hotel on the side where you get off the ferry as it’s an island where you cycle to get around, which makes it magical. There is a restaurant operated by the resort nearby, so you can order simple drinks and food. If you lie on a sunbed where the ocean view is endless, it is heaven~ The sea is so clear and transparent that you can just see it with your eyes💙 If you can swim, you will want to jump into the sea.. We stayed on Gili T for 3 nights in total and we were so happy we went! A note if your hotel is not on the east side of the island by the dock you will most likely need to get a horse and carriage with your luggage to your accommodation because that is the only transportation on the island other than bicycles. Our accommodation was on the west side of the island so we therefore had to get a horse and carriage which cost about 150,000 rupiah. Once we got to our accommodation we hired bikes to get around the island which is very easy as it’s very flat. One of the days we went snorkelling and we swam with turtles. There are so many turtle points around the island, the best way to find them is either ask one of the locals at each point or see how many people are in the sea snorkelling as that will indicate if there are any turtles there. We saw around 5/6 turtles this day. There is a bit of party on the island however we didn’t go out in the night, we did however make it to Mad Monkey Friday foam party for a few drinks which turned out to be super fun. They usually have a few patty’s on during the week. Overall loved the island, we didn’t go to any other islands as we were happy to stay on Gili T, but I know you can do snorkelling tours around the other islands and some people do stay a night on some other islands but all in all Gili T is stunning and great for snorkelling and a snippet of paradise. #beachlife #gili #gilit #gilitrawangan #snorkelling #bali #mytripvlog #tripblazers #summervacation #passionpassport

This was my first time traveling to Gili Trawangan Island, and it was an awesome experience. Started off from Bali then to Nusa Penida then to Gili T, in a span of four days and it was all great. I couldn't find such places on the blog. I found this hot place by chanceㅋㅋ The best part was the cost-effectiveness! It was a great deal at 30,000 won including breakfast🫢 In particular, I liked the outdoor bathroom the most The staff are all friendly, the breakfast is delicious, and it's different every time, so you can eat it without getting tired of it! 📍 FRii Gili

#Overseas travel #Bali #Hot place The best place in Bali, Gili Island🏝 The funny thing is that I met my Australian friend who I greeted at the beach club again by chance here~ I guess travel destinations are travel destinations after allㅋㅋ But the friend who recognized me first was so amazing😮 It's a narrow place, but it's even more charming because it's narrow! In particular, Gili Twanglawan is famous as the filming location of Yoon's Kitchen but the filming location is a bit further up than the main street. The main street has many restaurants and lots to see, but I moved to a place on the complete opposite side, close to the filming location of Yoon's Kitchen. Moving the accommodation was a total stroke of genius! I was able to enjoy the peacefulness of Gili Island even more🥰

Getting There - boat at Lombok and Bali Attractions - nice clear blue waters full of turtles for snorkel , dive , surf and paddle boarding . The view when you cycle around the island is spectacular, can be done in 30 minutes . However, beware of horse carts driving tourists around the island . Hotels - ranging from resorts to home stay (your own preferences) Food & Restaurants - Cheap and fresh seafood BQQ . Island has many restaurants with different international and fusion cuisines too. These were the only swings I found left on the island still standing in the ocean. If you wake up early enough, most of the island is still asleep. We took advantage and decided to dip in the sea with no one around. we had the entire beach to ourselves. The view of the sunrise was gorgeous and consuming as it changed colors from grey to pink and purple hues. Throughout the morning, the sky turned bluer and clouds started to form over the nearby mountains across the sea. This is definitely a sight to see. Since it is a small island, it was fun to ride a bicycle halfway around. I think it would be nice to ride a full circle. Gili Trawangan is one of 3 small idyllic atolls located off the North west coast of Lombok. Gili means island in the local Sasak dialect. Only 8 degrees south of the equator the climate is warm and tropical with 12 hours of sunlight a day and daily temperatures range from 24-34 degrees centigrade. The Gilis are drier during the wet season than both Bali and Lombok with rainfall usually in the afternoons. Gili Trawangan is the largest of the 3 Gili’s and is fringed with white sandy beaches and coral. Walking the circumference of the island takes around 1 hour and 45 minutes and is 6 and half kilometers. There are no motorized transport vehicles on the island and local transport is by bicycle or horse carts called Cidomos (pronounced Chi-do-mo). I had the opportunity to stay on Gili Trawangan for 2 days and on that occasion I decided to go snorkeling and kayaking from Gili Trawangan Island to Gili Air Island. when I was snorkelling, I couldn't get a good view under the water because at that time the weather was not friendly. however, going by kayak from Gili Trawangan Island to Gili Air Island is one experience I will never forget. #roadtrip#summervacation

There’s no place like Gili Trawangan that I’ve ever been to. It has awesome nightlife with full party all night, good food, good people and resorts. One of the best thing is there are no vehicles on the island the only way of transportation is bicycle and horse-cart. It has beautiful water color around the beaches. You can enjoy watching movies in open theatres located on beach while enjoying cool breeze and sound of wave. There are swings in front of some resorts situated on shallow water beside beach which gives immense joy while swinging in water. We went snorkeling at Gili T. The team consisted of 5 people and went in the order of M, A, and T. The highlight among them was the stone statue spot that you saw in the photo. I recommend that everyone visit this place at least once!
