Honestly, it was one of the most surprising places I’ve visited in Southeast Asia. First, I started my trip with a sunrise walk along My Khe Beach — wide, clean, and so peaceful in the early morning. Locals were doing tai chi and swimming as the sun came up. After that, I grabbed a bowl of mi Quang (local turmeric noodles) from a street vendor — flavorful and super cheap! I visited the famous Marble Mountains next — climbed up through caves and pagodas with amazing views over the city and coastline. Then I spent a couple of hours exploring the Cham Museum, which has beautiful ancient sculptures and gives a glimpse into the region’s deep history. One of the most magical moments was walking across the Dragon Bridge at night when it lights up and even breathes fire on weekends! I also made a quick trip to Ba Na Hills — it’s touristy but worth it for the Golden Bridge held by two giant stone hands (unreal photo spot). Da Nang feels like the perfect blend of calm beach town, buzzing city, and cultural richness. The people were so kind, the food blew my mind, and I already know I’ll come back someday — maybe for longer next time.

#VietnamTravel This is the highlight of our visit to Ba Na Hills and something my wife and I really wanted to see. It can get quite crowded but we visited after lunch and it wasn't too crowded (and it was off-season). The view from the bridge is great. Be prepared to take a long gondola ride to the top of the hill. Beautiful views and a lovely place to take pictures. But please, oh please, don't go there first thing in the morning! Unless it's literally opening time for the park... then you'll be lucky and it won't be that crowded. However, when we went to Ba Na Hills we visited the bridge at lunchtime and there were still a few people but it wasn't as hell as in the morning. We took the cable car on the far right and went straight to the top and visited the hand during lunch and closing time. It's a better way for us to do it since the guided tour leaves the park around 3-4pm. And of course lunchtime is also a good time because most visitors will be at the park buffet which isn't very friendly to each other. At least they aren't on the bridge and you can take pictures. But since everyone else will be doing this, we urge you not to go first thing in the morning. You can still have a great time by taking the least crowded cable car! Go straight to the top, come back down later!

You have to sleep on the top of Bana Hill because there will be a special cable car for those staying up there. The first round starts at 6:00 AM and will take people up the cable car for only 5 minutes. Then the cable car will open again at 6:30 AM or every half hour. Take pictures in a chill way. . And if you walk further, everyone will find a garden decorated in a magnificent way. There are many flowers and trees. Take beautiful pictures. Plus, the weather is not very hot. There are many souvenir shops and food shops to choose from. It's worth waking up early. ▪️Advice: For general people who do not stay up there, the first round will be at 8:00 AM. Accommodation ▪️Mercure Danang French Village Ba Na Hill, the only accommodation here. There are many types to choose from, both single rooms, double beds, or family rooms. We stayed in a family of 4 beds, bunk beds, with 1 bathroom and 1 shower room, which was quite okay. It was bigger than I thought. There was a heater. The price we stayed at included breakfast. And 2 cable car tickets (we bought 2 more at a special price for those staying here). When you arrive at the cable car station, they will check you in before going up. There is a room deposit of 1,000,000 VND that will be returned when you check out. If you arrive before the check-in time, you can leave your bags at the hotel reception. Food▪️ Beer Plaza Dinner buffet with a variety of food to choose from, including Vietnamese, international, savory, sweet, and full drinks.
