Now, let me talk about my stay at Hanting Hotel in South Beijing (Gaomidian North Subway Station branch), which truly surprised me!
✨ I originally thought it was just an ordinary budget hotel, but from check-in to check-out, every detail showed care, completely exceeding expectations! This article will share a genuine stay experience~
🏨 First impression: Simple yet sophisticated
The moment I entered the lobby, I was attracted by the natural wood and white decor style. The whole space was bright and clean, with none of the usual outdated feeling of budget hotels. The front desk staff wore neat uniforms and had very friendly smiles 😊. They even proactively asked if I needed local travel tips during check-in.
I booked a Superior King Room. The first feeling upon opening the door was that it was more spacious than expected. After placing my 28-inch suitcase, there was still plenty of room to move around. What surprised me most was the huge floor-to-ceiling window 🪟, which let in excellent natural light. During the day, there was no need to turn on the lights, and when sunlight poured in, the whole room felt warm and cozy~
🛏️ Sleep experience: Zero-pressure mattress + ultra-quiet environment
As a light sleeper, I have very high standards for hotel bedding and soundproofing. This Hanting’s mattress is "zero-pressure memory foam," moderately firm and soft, with a slight enveloping feeling but not too soft to cause back pain. The pillows are of different heights, allowing choice according to preference, which was perfect for my neck issues!
Regarding soundproofing, my room was on a high floor facing inward, so I could hardly hear corridor noise (lower floors facing the street might have some traffic sounds). The windows are double-glazed, and when closed tightly, outside noise almost disappears, ensuring a good night’s sleep 💤.
🚿 Bathroom experience: Dry and wet separation + instant hot water
The bathroom features a dry and wet separation design, with the sink and shower completely separate, so the floor stays dry. The shower water pressure was excellent 🚿, and hot water came quickly, so no shivering during winter showers. The toiletries are Hanting’s own "Jingyue" series, with a mild, non-irritating scent, very comfortable to use.
The only minor regret was the lack of a bathtub (understandable at this price), but for a business traveler like me, a comfortable hot shower is enough~
🏨 Staying here made me realize how fun South Beijing really is!
