We found this shrine by accident because we were going to Toyama Glass Art Museum, but it was not open yet, so we walked around there first. We found Hie Shrine, which attracted our attention and made us walk in. We later found out that this shrine is famous for praying for love, safe childbirth, and prosperity in business. #How to get there From Toyama Station, take the electric tram, start (C15). 🟩 Take the green line (C15) and get off at Nishicho Station (C8), then walk for another 5 minutes. 🟦 Take the blue line (C15) and get off at Grand Plaza-mae (C25), then walk for 3 minutes. If you come to Toyama and want to pray, try to visit Toyama's Hie Shrine.

#thingstodo Hie Shrine is about as cute as it gets. Hie is close to the temple quarter in Toyama where quite a few small Shrines and Temples can be found and enjoyed. Both the Torii and Main shrine are beautiful but what I found most interesting were the carvings at one particular area of the Shrine with animal statues. Toyama is great for unique shrines and temples that you can visit in half an hour or less. Makes the entire area worth a daytrip.
