I didn't know about this place beforehand, but when I went to the cathedral, I noticed this incredibly charming café nearby and decided to check it out. It was a spontaneous visit, but wasn't it a total success? The interior spans four floors, and each floor has a unique concept, which was really fascinating. Moreover, you can enjoy an amazing view here—the view of St. Joseph's Cathedral! When you think of the cathedral view, you might imagine looking at it straight on, but this café offers a slightly angled perspective of the cathedral, which was absolutely stunning. The restaurant is filled with greenery, making it so lush and beautiful—totally my style!

[Vietnam Airlines Business Class Boarding Report ✈️ Narita → Hanoi] This flight was from Narita Airport to Hanoi Noi Bai International Airport. The airline I used was Vietnam Airlines. The aircraft was a Boeing 787, and I flew in business class. Seats and Amenities The business class seats are fully flat, so you can stay comfortable even on long flights. The seats are arranged in a 1-2-1 configuration, so the two middle seats are just right for couples or friends, but since there is no partition, you may feel a little awkward if you are sitting next to someone you don't know. The blankets are great! The amenity kit is Samsonite! The aircraft feels a little old, so if you have experienced other business flights, it may be a little disappointing 😇 In-flight meals First, drinks are served, followed by a welcome time with nuts. After that, you can choose between an appetizer, warm bread, and a main dish of steak or chicken. I chose steak! It was delicious. For dessert, you can choose from fruit, cake, and Japanese sweets. I chose cake and fruit. All of them had a refined taste, and the in-flight service was very satisfying until the very end. The staff were also kind! [How to transfer to a domestic flight in Hanoi] After arriving in Hanoi, the steps to transfer to a domestic flight are summarized below. 1. Go through immigration You will go through immigration once at the international airport. At this point, you will be given a "Transit sticker" so stick it in a visible place This sticker will be a sign that you are a connecting flight. 2. Receiving and re-checking your luggage After immigration, pick up your checked luggage at the baggage claim area, and check your luggage again at the "transit-only baggage drop" located immediately to the left after leaving the gate. (The location is as of the time of posting) This will allow you to travel to the domestic flight empty-handed. 3. Transfer to the domestic terminal A free shuttle bus runs to the domestic terminal. On the way, there are many solicitations for paid taxis such as Grab, but if you don't need one, you can ignore them. Continue to the shuttle bus stop. As soon as you exit the outside exit where the car is, cross the crosswalk and you will see the bus on your right! [About the congestion at immigration] This time I was using business class, so I was able to pass through immigration smoothly with almost no waiting time. Here are five local Vietnamese dishes that I personally tried during my trip and absolutely loved! ✨ ① **Bún Chả** Visit the Michelin-recognized "Bún Chả Dac Kim" for their spring roll set 🥢. The grilled pork and fried spring rolls paired with fresh herbs are a perfect match! ② **Vietnamese Sticky Rice** Head to the popular "Xôi Yến"! Choose your favorite toppings to go with the chewy sticky rice ✨. I opted for the "pre-topped" version with ingredients placed on top. ♡ ③ **Egg Coffee** Try the authentic taste at the birthplace "Cafe Giảng" ☕️. The creamy egg foam combined with rich coffee is absolutely addictive! I also bought some drip coffee as souvenirs. ④ **Bánh Mì** A must-try! At "Bánh Mì 25," I had the honey chicken and avocado 🥖🥑. The crispy bread and juicy fillings create a perfect harmony of flavors. ⑤ **Chè** Visit the local favorite "Chè 4 Mùa Hàng Cân." This sweet and chilled Vietnamese dessert is delightful. The lotus seed version, "Chè Sen," was particularly amazing 🌼.

Vietnam 🇻🇳 I took a little time for this 😅 How was Vietnam for me? It was beautiful but not as I expected entirely. Hanoi is chaotic but you can find great, cheap food and coffee. Halong Bay was extraordinary. Really beautiful. Ninh Binh has amazing spots and viewpoints. Rich of history and beautiful temples. Food amazing! Pho amazing 🍜 Unfortunately Sa Pa was under a constant smoke because of the fires the locals burn in November. You can still appreciate the beauty of the rice fields and the local tribes, but I would suggest to visit Sa Pa in June or July. Still, food amazing. Local dishes yummy (Ga Den, Xoi Bay Mau, Sapa Cap-Nach Pork). Da Nang was a great surprise. Chilled beach town, close to the Golden Bridge (the Buddha Hands bridge) and especially close to Hoi An, a super cool little town with fun night market and the very best Pork Roll (Banh Mi) I ever tried in my life. Food amazing. Banh Mi in Hoi An so yummy. I did not spend my time in Ho Chi Min, so I wouldn’t know what to say about it. It looked incredibly big from the plane. I thought Vietnam was amazing but a little uncomfortable to travel around. I felt like the food was incredibly good, the places beautiful but the infrastructure way behind. I’d love to go back, anytime.
