While we didn’t manage to try the full restaurant menu at Ringo no Ie due to our late afternoon visit, we still thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Located right inside Hirosaki Apple Park, this charming café-style restaurant was a perfect spot to relax after exploring the orchard. Even though the kitchen had closed, the display of apple pastries caught our eye—and we ended up ordering just about every variety they had. The puff pastries were beautifully done—crispy, buttery, and filled with delicious apple goodness. Paired with a cup of hot coffee, it made for an indulgent and satisfying break. The kids especially loved the pastries—flaky on the outside and packed with naturally sweet apple flavor on the inside. You could really tell that fresh, local apples were used. If you’re visiting Hirosaki Apple Park, don’t skip this spot—even if it’s just for a coffee and pastry break. Hello everyone, today we will share our experience of picking apples at Hirosaki Apple Park in late October 2024. 1. How to get to the park: From Hirosaki Station, take the bus in front of the station (Bus stop no.6). You can ask for the bus schedule at Hirosaki Tourist Information (you can use an IC card to pay for the bus). 2. For picking apples: There will be a counter to register for picking apples in rounds. Each round takes about 30 minutes. 3. The apples we pick will be weighed by the park at 100 grams: 100 yen. 4. The park will have many varieties of apples for tasting and selling. You can choose to buy them. The apples smell very fragrant. 5. Souvenirs and snacks are cheaper than buying them in Aomori City, but not much. This is Hirosaki Apple Park located in Hirosaki, Aomori prefecture. It is a 10 to 15 minutes drive from the Hirosaki station. The best time to visit the park is during August to September period~ The opening hours is from 9am to 5pm. It’s a great place for apple picking, picnic and watching the sunset! They even sell Apple Curry with rice. Make sure you check it out! 😲

The food that must be eaten in Aomori is of course apple. In addition to the fresh apples in Hirosaki Apple Park, the apple juice, cider and apple curry rice here are really super delicious! Don't miss it~
