Stayed here for 2 nights as we explored the Taroko Gorge area. 1. This hotel is clean and comfortable. 2. Located very close to the beach/sea where you can enjoy the view at the comfortable of the room (if you get the sea-facing room). 3. Service was especially good. They provide free transportation from the train station. 4. Very peaceful place to be in, and if you are lucky, you can spot beautiful sunrise. Chishingtan Resort Hotel is the favorite place for our group of old friends to stay in Hualien. In the past ten years, except for the epidemic period, we have stayed there for three or four nights every year, not because of its low room rate, but because the reception staff are attentive and friendly, making people feel at home. However, it is far from the night market, but the hotel can reserve a taxi to the city, and the fare is charged at 30% of the price.
