While the breakfast isn’t luxurious, it has all the essentials. The options are simple yet satisfying, and I felt full after eating. Starting the day with a hearty breakfast gave me the energy to enjoy my itinerary, which is very important to me. Skypark Hotel is the kind of choice that won’t disappoint: not extravagant, but stable, comfortable, and convenient. This time when I came to Seoul, I stayed at an accommodation near Dongdaemun History and Culture Park Station. Hotel Skypark Dongdaemun I is within walking distance from Exit 5 of the subway. However, if you are a traveler with large luggage, I would recommend taking the elevator from Exit 1 and then walking, which is easier and less strenuous. The overall accommodation experience was very good. It was very clean and tidy. I felt comfortable and relaxed when I returned to the room. The location is also very convenient. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to Gwangjang Market, which is very suitable whether you want to eat snacks or go shopping. #SeoulHotel 📍HOTEL SKYPARK DONGDAEMUN I When I was choosing a hotel for my trip to Seoul, I chose a cheap one last time, but it ended up being a big mistake💦 This time, I chose a hotel that had good reviews and was relatively cheap from the hotels recommended on the site✨ We were traveling as a group of three, so we booked a triple room🥰 The location is perfect for night shopping at Dongdaemun History and Culture Park. The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly in Japanese🙆♀️ The shower room has a bathtub and curtain, so it was easy to get in. Usually, my trips to Seoul are packed with activities from start to finish. However, this time, I planned a slower-paced trip since it was just me and my child. Day 1: From Japan to Korea. We decided to try the regular train this time. The travel time was similar to the limousine bus, and there was no need for language exchanges. At the airport's CU convenience store, I changed my existing T-money card to a child setting and purchased a Wowpass. After charging the cards, all we had to do was tap and go! After a short rest at the hotel, we strolled around Myeongdong, enjoying street food and boosting our mood. Day 2: We visited DDP (Dongdaemun Design Plaza) for a kid-friendly event, which turned out to be surprisingly fun. We ended up spending more time there than expected, so we skipped our planned visit to Mangwon Market. After relaxing at the hotel, we headed to Dongdaemun in the evening. Day 3: The highlight of the trip—Everland! After debating between the limousine bus and the regular route bus, we chose the latter. The reason? By taking the route bus, we could arrive before the park opened and set our own pace for the day without being rushed. This allowed us to secure a reservation at Bao House and enjoy the attractions without long waits. In the evening, we dashed to Gwangjang Market to savor yukhoe (Korean beef tartare) and gwabaegi (twisted doughnuts). Day 4: We checked out leisurely and headed to the airport. The Skypark hotel's checkout time of 12 PM was a big help. For transportation tips, we avoided transferring at Seoul Station or City Hall Station and opted for Gongdeok Station instead. The shorter transfer distance made it much easier. We also made full use of buses this time. For simple routes like Dongdaemun to Myeongdong, staying above ground instead of going underground saved a lot of energy.

Comfortable rooms: Clean and modern rooms. Some rooms have bathtubs, so you can relax after sightseeing or business.  Surrounding area: Located along Cheonggyecheon, convenient for strolling and shopping. Restaurants and food stalls are also nearby. Japanese-speaking staff: Japanese-speaking staff are always on hand, so you can stay with peace of mind.  Clean rooms: Simple and clean rooms. All rooms are equipped with a bathtub and a toilet with a washlet.  Convenient facilities: Free Wi-Fi, water servers, currency exchange machines, and other facilities to support a comfortable stay.  Surrounding area: Dongdaemun Market and Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) are within walking distance, making it ideal for shopping and sightseeing. The location is good. There is no parking lot. The place is clean, but the TV is small and has few channels.

Even if you visit late at night, you can still shop for cheap clothes near Dongdaemun! Directly connected to Seoul Station, there is a food court inside the Lotte Outlet, where you can have lunch there with lots of delicious food such as spicy champon and jajangmyeon. There were a lot of locals there too! 🏖️Atmosphere/Facilities: Skypark Dongdaemun Hotel 1 It was clean and I was glad that I could flush toilet paper, but there was a little bit of trash under the bed. It might bother some people💦

The hotel does not have a key card, you need to remember the password, the staff attitude is average, the room is clean and comfortable, the bed is big, but the master control in the room needs to adjust the lighting and air conditioning by yourself, which is more troublesome, there is no choice for breakfast, the taste is average

The hotel room interior is very clean and nice. It is about a 10-minute walk from DDP. I am very satisfied!

Good location, close to the subway, many shopping districts nearby, I have stayed here for the second time, it is worth recommending, the counter staff are very friendly and can speak Chinese, I recommend it

I had a wonderful stay with great locations. breakfast is included if not you can buy 15k per person there are so many different options available to enjoy tea coffee juice soup, bread, pasta, fried rice fruits etc.. 5mins walk fordongdaemun subway station and 2mins walk for local busses and airport shuttle bus. The space in the room is small and it is a bit troublesome that the suitcase cannot be fully opened. There was a problem with the room door lock and the service staff was very patient in assisting and handling it. The hotel is located across the street from an office building and the windows cannot be opened. The airport bus stop is very close and convenient, just cross the road to get there. ***The hotel's entrance closest to the subway station is all stairs, so foreign travelers please think twice. Carrying the luggage compartment makes me doubt my life***

This hotel is located near Dongdaemun History and Culture Park Station. This is my second stay. I like the bakery and coffee shop opposite the hotel the most. It is easy to walk to the subway station. It is more convenient to walk straight on the road at Exit 5 than to go up and down the subway. The room is average in size, but clean and tidy, with self check-in. It would be better if there is a room location map to choose from. Elevators and rooms require passwords. On October 15, I booked a hotel stay at Dongdaemun Skygarden 1 through trip.com. The hotel is near Exit 6 of Dongdaemun History and Culture Park, just a one or two minute walk away. The environment is quiet in a busy setting. There is the airport shuttle bus 6001 in front of the Bellden Hotel opposite. You can go to the DDP Art Museum at another History and Culture Park subway exit. It is also within walking distance to Dongdaemun Wholesale Market and Gwangjang Market. It is very convenient. The hotel room is comfortable and clean, the staff is polite, the bathroom has shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, the toilet is a bidet, there are also hair dryers and slippers provided, but you have to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste. This is a very cost-effective hotel worth recommending.
