I looked around and found that there were quite a few hotels. It is considered to be an exception to the hotel next to the central underground street. Second nice area to stay. The hotel has a parking lot, but the parking spaces are small and it is easily filled up. The parking lot opposite is charged, so many guests park on the roadside. The first floor is simple with only a lounge area, restaurant, elevator, counter and powder room. There is a note saying it is a Chinese counter but I don't really speak Chinese, so I still have to communicate in English as they only have Chinese instructions. The elevator is very small and the mats inside make it difficult to drag luggage. The room is not big and faces a convenience store and the sea. I suggest telling the hotel that it faces the sea because there will be drunk people making noise in the convenience store at midnight, and you can hear it through the soundproof windows. The air conditioner cannot adjust the temperature, only turn it on and off. There is a small refrigerator, the bathroom is separated into wet and dry areas, the water is very small and leaks, and a large bottle of bath products is on the wall. There is a bidet toilet, and you need to bring your own toothpaste and toothbrush. The slippers are not disposable. TV with smart TV and balcony. The bed is hard but comfortable to sleep on. Single beds are generally small. The overall sound insulation is pretty good. However, the nearby shops are open late, so you can still hear noise from the street in the middle of the night.

It is divided into a mountain view and an ocean view, and the mountain view was nice because it had a terrace overlooking Mt. Halla. 📅 Itinerary Day 1 East Jeju: ♧ Aewol Coastal Trail & Coffee Street #aewol ~ recommend Cafe Bomnal for the picture worthy space ♧ Cheonjiyeon Waterfall ~ better option of the 3 main waterfalls in Jeju if travelling with elderly as the path is mostly flat with no steps ♧ Arte Museum ~ great option on rainy days and suitable for all ages ♧ O'Sulloc Tea Museum ~ always busy but must go if planning to buy O'Sulloc products, there are certain items with additional discount here vs at other stores Day 2 West Jeju: ♧ Hueree Natural Park ~ large area with different beautiful flowers blooming in each season ♧ Seongeup Folk Village ~ nice to view the traditional houses and also locals who give an introduction of the area ♧ Seongsan Ilchulbong ~ there is option for sunrise viewing but would require bit of a hike in the dark. Haenyeo performance is quite brief and not worth just making a specific stop for it ♧ Seopjikoji ~ nice trail, take the time to head to the top of the lighthouse for the views ♧ Woljeongri Beach ~ small stretch of beach lined with cafes, with beautiful white sand and the clear blue sea Day 3 Jeju City: ♧ Jeju Mokgwana ~ old government office in Jeju, was fairly quiet and made a great photospot with hanbok rental shops available within walking distance ♧ Dongmun Market ~ full of local snacks and souvenirs 🏨 Accommodation Hotel Whistlelark Jeju 🍴 Food Recommendations ♡ 탑돈 Black Pork Street ~ great value set and refillable sides ♡ Dongmun Night Market ~ try the different street food available in the evenings and make sure to get the omegi tteok and fruit ones from 오북떡집 ♡ 등경돌 ~ yummy grilled beltfish and spicy stewed beltfish, close to Seongsan Ilchulbong ♡ 천제연토속 ~ abalone set was huge and grilled abalones were the highlight, plump and tender ♡ 산지물 ~ great option for hot breakfast, especially on chilly windy mornings 📌 Tips If you're looking to buy grocery type items like seaweed, etc try going to Martro, which is a discount store. Noted that prices here are cheaper than most other places.

The location is very good, you can walk there every day when you need to go shopping or eat fried chicken. Parking spaces are provided. We rented electric cars and there are charging devices for charging, which is very convenient. We stayed in the Harbor View Room. Our room had a view of the sea and the harbor. The sea view was beautiful during the day!! The harbor was beautiful at night, it was really great!! The toilet in the room is a bit small. You have to close the door to use the sink. The shower door doesn't close tightly so water will flow out, but there is a floor mat to block the water so it's okay. The room doesn't seem to have a heating function so it will be a bit cold at night. The door of the room is very heavy. If other travelers don't close the door gently, they will hear a bang in the room. The bed was very comfortable and we slept very well every day!! The room we stayed in had a pillar so if you want to enjoy the sea view, you have to go to the balcony. Most of the view will be blocked in the room. If you want to drink water, there is a water dispenser in the gym on the second floor where you can get water, which is very convenient. There is a luggage scale at the counter where you can weigh the luggage. If the luggage is overweight, you can go back to the room and sort it out slowly.

The three reasons I come here are the ocean view room, rooftop pool, and various facilities. In particular, there's Seoga & Cook on the first floor, so you can have a clean and pleasant dining experience. It was so sweet when I was tired from swimming. When you sit in the room and look outside, you can see the ocean, and there are chairs and tables on the terrace, so it's nice to just stare blankly. It would be nice to spend time sitting on the terrace in spring or fall. The amenities are shared. I'm participating without complaint because it's a choice for nature. There's Tapdong Park in front of Whistle Rock Hotel. It's not that big, but it was great to be able to walk while looking at the ocean. It was nice to be at a hotel in front of the ocean after always being busy with sightseeing.
