Cherry blossom season is probably one of the busiest times to visit Japan but you can’t blame people for wanting to come and explore the country during this time of the year. These pictures can’t justify how beautiful and breathtaking the sakura flowers are 🌸 In Ishikawa Prefecture, Kibagata Park 木場潟公園 is one of the best places to enjoy this season. It’s a massive park that not only showcases beautiful greenery and serves as a home for many species but also hosts many sporting events like National Canoeing competitions and training camps.

Newly build site for the whole family to enjoy its located next to the main park of kibagata park. The building is build with wood and there is a foot bath to enjoy for free. There is also a towel to rent for ¥50 yen. There is a cafe where the foot bath is located. They have a huge parking. We climbed up to the observatory deck and you can enjoy a very nice view from the top. There is also a big and unique slide for the children and the restroom is just in-front of it. This park has a wonderful Senbonzakura Street. The 1,700 cherry blossom trees were a spectacular sight. It is said to be the largest number of trees planted in any park in the prefecture. Walking along the cherry blossom trees while looking at Mt. Hakusan is highly recommended. If you are visiting Hokuriku during cherry blossom season, be sure to check out Kibagata Park.
