During World War II, Krasae Cave used to be a place for prisoners of war who were rounded up to build the Death Railway. The mouth of the cave is a viewpoint of the railway and offers the most beautiful natural scenery of the Kwai Noi River. Inside the cave is a Buddha statue called Phra Phuttha Saksit.
