[2025 Arles Attraction] Travel Guide for L'espace Van Gogh (Updated Jul)

it was another Van Goah bucket list thing to do for me visiting actual landmarks and places painted by Van Goah. This time, it was in the Provence area. this part of France is unusually beautiful, and I'm not surprised that several artists were inspired by it such as Renior, Paul Cezanne, Picasso and many more. I did the footsteps of Van Goah which was so inspiring for me by visiting Arels and saint-rémy-de-provence. you can walk his steps and see iconic locations were he painted the Starry nights (there is 2 of them in different locations) yellow house, the hospital he was treated after he cut his ears and the mental assyelm the he self admitted in

This is a comprehensive cultural center that restored the building of the sanatorium where Van Gogh was hospitalized in Arles just like his work, 'The Garden of the Arles Sanatorium'. The garden was like a float in the sunlight in the air, reflecting Van Gogh's excitement as he came to Arles dreaming of a community of artists. The Rhone River that runs through Arles was also a wonderful model for Van Gogh! 🌳 Address : Pl. Arles is famous for Van Gogh's sunflowers and is listed as a World Cultural Heritage. It takes about 20 minutes by car from Avignon.
