Looking for outstanding views without having to walk too much? This is the place! Walking up the mountain isn't easy, but only takes around 45 minutes of walking up steps, and once at the top, wow! There is a trail at the top which winds around the mountains offering stunning views and relatively easy to walk. Also on offer are numerous glass bridges, various swings, and even a cute cafe. When making your way down the mountain, you have the option of a nice trek down through the mountains or to slide down on carpet! The overall decoration styles of the several B&Bs in Shuangziwei Hakka B&B Town are very good. I visited each of them. Even if I don’t stay in the hotel, I can still go in to have a drink, stroll around, and take pictures! If you want to dine in, you need to make a reservation one day in advance. I had high expectations for Dalezhiye before going there. The overall decoration style is very good, but not particularly stunning (purely personal aesthetic), and it is basically fully booked on weekends. Several homestays are close together and are just a few steps away. What impressed me the most was this Xipo store. I really liked its decoration style and taste. You can sit down and drink coffee in the store! They have more than a dozen stores across the country, and the one in Moganshan is also very good. If you depart from Shenzhen, it is very convenient. It takes three hours to drive there, or one hour and forty minutes by high-speed rail! It’s simply the back garden of the Greater Bay Area! It is highly recommended to come and relax on the weekend and experience the homestay. Longnan County is very ordinary and not particularly popular yet. There are not many people in several popular homestays. After comparing, we chose the one with the best value and style: **"Pusu·Island Letter"** The staff were warm and welcoming, actively coordinating communication via group chats. The meals, prepared by the homestay's auntie, showcased authentic Hakka farmhouse flavors with refined dishes. Breakfast was light yet hearty, featuring Chinese-style stir-fried rice noodles with mixed grains. The 50-square-meter room came with a comprehensive toiletry kit. Evening turndown service and a sweet bedtime soup were thoughtful touches. The homestay also offers handicraft experiences and costume rentals, ensuring guests never feel bored in the mountains. The common areas are tranquil, and the café is home to a chubby little cat named Cheese 🐱. Yanyiwei is a typical defensive Hakka walled village, built in 1650 and taking 27 years to complete. The entire building is four stories high, with walls 1.45 meters thick and over 14 meters high, giving it a strong sense of fortress. The interior structure of the walled house is compact, and the walkways and stairs are all made of wood. Although it is very old, it still remains stable. Yanyiwei is the most awe-inspiring walled village I visited in Longnan. Built during the Qing Shunzhi era, it boasts a history of over 370 years. Its walls reach an impressive height of 14.3 meters, making it one of the tallest known Hakka walled villages. The entire structure is rectangular and consists of four floors, each featuring circular corridors and living spaces. What stands out the most is its defensive design—each corner has a watchtower, the walls are thick, and there are gun holes, clearly indicating its readiness for battle. Currently, the interior is uninhabited, but the overall preservation is excellent, allowing for a complete tour. If you're interested in Hakka architecture and history, it's highly recommended to spend one to two hours exploring this site.

The Hakka Winery, located in Xinli Village, Liren Town, Longnan, Jiangxi Province, is a Hakka walled house built during the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty, with a history of more than 200 years. If Xinwei is "strong", then other walled villages in Guanxi are more like "quiet". The layout of each walled house is different. Some are round, and some have multiple entrances and exits, as if they were tailor-made according to the number of people in the tribe and the family structure at the time. They do not exist for taking photos, but carry traces of too many people's lives. The first time I saw Guanxi Xinwei was in the early morning when it was about to rain. The gray-white walls of the courtyard house were stained by water vapor, and the whole building seemed to have grown out of the clouds. It is said that it took 29 years to build. From a high vantage point, it is a standard square with tall watchtowers at the four corners, giving off a silent but firm sense of security. Walking inside, you can feel the sense of "a big family once lived together here" - the long bluestone alley, the incense stand in front of the ancestral hall, and the black marks left in the corner of the kitchen wall.
