To be honest, my first thought when I arrived at the Brussels station was, Oh my god, it smells so bad here! ! 🤣🤣 But when I went out and saw the cathedral and the main square, my view changed ~ it was really spectacular! The streets and alleys in Brussels are uneven, so you often have to zoom in to capture the flower decorations and the entire road. It's so beautiful. Look up and there is a cute mural, Tintin. Besides Tintin, there is also my beloved Smurf. The square was obviously beautiful, but there were already too many people and the sun was starting to set. I love the gorgeous and sparkly look. In addition to the peeing boy, there are also the peeing girl and the peeing puppy. The Art Hill is beautiful, but very hot. Then we walked all the way to the palace. The architecture here is also great. We passed by many institutions that I didn’t quite understand. The palace is being renovated. Walk out along the park in front, walk to the church, and walk to the peeing puppy. People really love to pee here. Let’s go back and take a look at the Grand Square. Though the statue is quite small, it is adorable and the history behind this is quite amazing. Believe it or not, Manneken Pis has been around since 1619. You can't really visit Brussels without stopping by. You can see many tourists around this place and you can be here any time of the day. My recommendation is to get this visited as a part of free walking tour. This would get etched in your memories. People can’t see up close, but it’s totally fine to visit because you will see interesting places along the way. If you see this Manneken Pis statue, you can finally say “Yes, I’ve been to Brussels”.

This is Pillows City Hotel located in the heart of Brussels. From train station is about 7 minutes walking distance. and of course you won't miss any single steps cause it is really-really near. The staff is really helpful. Breakfast spread are variety and you can't miss any of it cause it's really nice. What me like about this hotel is the location near to everything that me want such as Hard Rock Cafe, Grand Place, Mannekin Pis, Saint Michel Cathedral, Notre-Dame Du Sablon and etc. Me like the restaurants nearby my hotel named Woodpecker Brussels. Me had the eggs Benedict with salmon. Best breakfast in Brussels me have and never doubt it. 👍 Besides that, me love Laurent Gerbaud chocolate shop. You guys should be here and try the best and fine chocolate in Belgium. Other shop that you should try are Leonidas, Corne Port Royal, Godiva, Bruyerre and etc. If any one of you would like to go shopping, there is Royal Gallery of Saint Hubert next to Grote Markt. just walking distance from Hard Rock Brussels. The Manneken Pis in Brussels is considered one of the three most disappointing attractions in the world. The boy's name is Julien. I did think he was really small when I went to see him, but what made the biggest impression was how stylish his clothes were. But did you know that there are two other statues urinating in Brussels besides the Manneken Pis? There's also the Peeing Girl and the Peeing Dog! The Peeing Girl is closed after hours, as shown in the photo, so be careful about the time. (I managed to see it with my own eyes, but it's hard to tell from a photo...) We took the noon train to Brussels. This time we chose to stay in the Saint Catherine area, which is full of life and art. On the way, we passed the Église Saint-Jean-Baptiste church, which looked particularly solemn under the dark clouds before the morning light. Without sunlight penetrating the stained glass, the golden decorations inside the church appear even more heavy and textured under the candlelight. On the way to the Grand Plaza, after turning three corners, I suddenly saw the peeing boy, who was unexpectedly "naked" today. Capital of Belgium, it might not be people top choice of travelling but it was a pleasant surprise. It is a city with heritage, architecture, gastronomy and their warm personality. It is a compact city where you can clock most of the major attractions by foot which i highly recommend. Start by the grand place and slowly explore yourself, you will find the iconic Manneken Pis (he is wearing a chef uniform) and be suprised by the clothes he is wearing. There is a musuem for a his costumes he wore and is so interesting to see his extensive waredrobe. Of cos, we have to locate the Jeannike - Pis which is another statue dedicating the the little mischevious girl of brussels. And lastly, we manage to hunt down Zinneke Pis (dog peeing) since we are on it. It was slightly off the main area but it was not far. Along the streets there are beautiful murals for you to take pictures as well.
