5 Days in Kota Kinabalu- amazing tour from mountain to sea.
🗺️🗺️ [Itinerary]
Day 1:
Flying from Singapore Changi Airport, direct flight about 1hour 50mins to Kota Kinabalu International Airport (BKI). Take Grab car or pre-booked airport transportation to Hotel. Walk around the area near Jesselton Point Ferry terminal, there is a Jesselton Duty Free mall, if you would like purchase some goodies. There is a upside down museum to have some fun, kids will love to explore.
Day 2:
Day trip to Kundasang. Chartered a private van to Kundasang to appreciate the beauty of Mount Kota Kinabalu, the Sacred mountain of the natives. The objective of the day trip is not to climb mount Kinabalu, for hikers and climbers need to book different arrangements with agencies. The weather is generally cooling and unpredictable over the mountain range, please bring your jacket or raincoats.
Along the way can drop by the “little Switzerland” Desa Dairy farm, taste the Gelato, then feed baby cows and baby goats, the activities will be suitable for children.
If you are lucky, you will get to see the biggest parasitic flower in the world- rafflesia.
Breath in and out when crossing the Poring Canopy walkway and then soak in Poring hot springs to wash your fatigue away.
Day 3:
Island hopping to Sapi island and Manukan. Depart from Jesselton point Ferry terminal, about 25 min boat ride to Sapi island for snorkeling and sunbathing. Then move on to Manukan Island, about 10 mins boat ride from Sapi island. Manukan island has even cleaner beach and clearer water compared to Sapi, and there are resorts on the island if you would like to stay overnight.
Day 4:
City Tour, chartered private van, visiting Masjid Bandaraya Kota Kinabalu (floating mosque), Atkinson clock tower, Signal Hill observation Tower, Anjung Kinabalu/Filipino Market.
Dine in at Welcome seafood restaurant.
Day 5:
Chartered transport from hotel to airport, taking direct flight back to Changi Airport. Alternatively, fly to Kuala Lumpur international airport then transit.

📣📣 [Tips]
Rainy season starts from October to April with heaviest rainfall in September and October, which might not be ideal for climbing, having said that, the weather is generally unpredictable over mountain range, have to wait at the holding area till rain stops to attack the summit if you are climbing.
