The first seating is actually divided into 3 groups: ① Enter at 8:00 AM, counter seats (12 seats) ② Enter at 8:10 AM, table seats at the back (12 seats) ③ Enter at 8:20 AM, table seats on the right (12 seats) Here’s a guide on when you need to join the line outside to make it into groups ①–③👇 ① By 7:10 AM at the latest ② By 7:20 AM at the latest ③ By 7:30 AM at the latest And here’s when you can expect your freshly steamed bread to arrive after ordering👇 ① From 8:20 AM ② From 8:30 AM ③ From 8:40 AM The steamed bread was incredibly fluffy! I actually worried it would be too much to finish, but that was silly—I devoured it in no time😋 I also ordered the soufflé toast, and the black sesame butter that came with it was so flavorful and delicious︎💕︎︎ Since I had other plans, I ate pretty quickly and left around 8:55 AM. However, some people from group ① were still finishing up, meaning the second seating hadn't even started yet. Both were a bit on the sweeter side, but the souffle French toast was wonderfully fluffy, and it paired perfectly with the vanilla ice cream ◎ However, because it was so hot on this day, sitting at the counter meant a lot of sunlight poured in, and the vanilla ice cream melted incredibly fast 😂🍨 The interior incorporates a lot of wood to create a warm and cozy vibe, and it is a bright, open space with abundant natural light. [Ikseon-dong Cafe] Delicious Freshly Steamed Fluffy Bread at Mil Toast We visited Mil Toast (밀토스트), a popular cafe in Ikseon-dong. 🍞🤍 The must-try here is their famous steamed bread, served in a bamboo steamer. Lifting the cloth reveals freshly steamed bread with a fluffy aroma! ✨ We ordered several types of bread, and the outside was subtly fragrant, while the inside was incredibly fluffy! The bread itself had a gentle sweetness and was delicious even on its own. It's even better with butter! ♡ The interior has a warm atmosphere, like a renovated traditional Korean house (hanok), and the open space with natural light streaming in from the ceiling is lovely. At the counter seats, you can even watch the bread being steamed in the steamer. If you want to be among the first customers in the morning, arriving around 7:30 AM is a must! When I went, it was relatively easy to get in around 7:30 AM, but from around 8:00 AM, a lot of people started arriving, and it began to get quite crowded. If you want to enjoy a leisurely morning at the cafe, I recommend going earlier in the day ☕️🍞 It's about a 2-minute walk from Jongno 3-ga Station, making it a great place for cafe hopping or breakfast in Ikseon-dong.
